Ellen Tracy Cologne for Men
The Ellen Tracy brand was established in 1949 by Herbert Gallen—the New Jersey grandson of a silk mill owner and son of a fabric manufacturer. From auto parts to army to designer of blouses named after his wife, Betty Barr, Gallen jettisoned his newly-minted company, Ellen Tracy, to its contemporary rank as purveyor of style for the professional woman. Linda Allard joined the brand in 1962, and together she and Gallen designed perfection. His memory of the Allard transition is vivid: "It was 2:00 PM on September 27, 1962… a fateful day.” The rest is fashion history. The brand took a foray into fragrance in 1992, resulting in fragrances like Ellen Tracy, Imagine, Inspire and Tracy.

This is THE BEST perfume ever. I was walking in the mall, a lady sprayed it on me, and I went on w/ my shopping! I kept smelling this amazing smell, and HAD to go buy it! It's my signature smell, everyone knows when "I'm there" because of the smell. Many people ask me what it is, where to buy it. Sorry Ellen Tracy...but I'm not good for your sales, because I don't want to tell them, it's MY SMELL! I've wore it probably over 5 yrs., and it's all I will wear, and only this particular one.
I wasn't a person who really wore perfume before, but after this, I'm in love w/ it!!!

For me, this perfume has everything: beauty, sophistication, and lasting-ness.
It reminds me of an old-fashioned rose garden, yet it is new and independent. I don't know what flowers or grasses were used to make it, but it has the timelessness and strength of the rose and the femininity of the peony without being powdery.
I wear it 24/7.
