MaxMara is my signature scent now. It is such an incredible unique fragrance. It's not overpowering but an elegant, soft, and feminine scent. It has a floral, citrus, amber, yet a little spicy note. When applied it has to dry down for you to be able to get the true essence of this screamingly sexy scent. MaxMara was tailor-made, just like my favorite suit, just for me. I have the 3oz. bottle and it's time to purchase a new one. I think this time I'll try one of the other fragrances along with this one. MaxMara Kashmina will be my next experience.

Max Mara has become one of my standby scents in heavy rotation for summertime - and any other time, for that matter. I love the sugar cane and sap notes softening the zesty lemon and ginger. This perfume is like a fresh breeze on a hot day, and I am glad I got the big bottle, because I reach for it frequently, and I will be buying it again. it's a great casual fragrance but certainly classy enough for the office or going out at night, and I have received numerous compliments on it.

I made the mistake of ordering this over the internet without having smelled it first because I read glowing reviews about it. What a mistake! It smells very lemony, and I like fresh citrusy perfumes at times, but the smell was overwhelming and it was mixed with a pungent creamy smell which became overpowering and almost sickly so I couldn't wait to wash it off. I thought my sister might like it and offered it to her but she took one whiff and she hated it as much as I did and refused to take it! Ironically, one reviewer who's reviewed this perfume mentioned Joop Femme, which is another perfume I made the mistake of buying over the internet and which stinks as much as this one does. I definitely would NOT recommend either of them!

I am crazy about perfumes, but this is one of the best perfumes I ever had and every time I buy it, my friends disappear with it and replace the bottle with cash or a love note, but this is one great perfume. It has a subtle scent that is so feminine and yet seductive in a very exciting manner. Every time I wear it, I receive compliments. Most of all, this is an ALL SEASON perfume and for any occasion, be it that special date, or a business meeting..... It is a must try!!!

Max Mara is a WONDERFUL scent!! It is very floral and the scent lasts all day long. Whenever I wear the scent, I get soooo many compliments, even my 14 year old son says "hmmm something smells good, it smells like flowers"! I love it!!!
