With numerous awards and accolades to her name, Carey has solidified her position as a viable recording artist. She has made numerous appearances on television and has had roles in film as well. After a rough start, Carey was finally able to find success on the big screen with her award winning performance in the 2009 motion picture, Precious. In keeping with the butterfly theme Carey has also released the popular Lollipop series as well as Luscious and Mariah Carey Forever.
