First of all I love the smell of gardenias in the air on a warm summer night. Second I hate most gardenia perfume. On me it smells way to sweet and cloying and synthetic. Marc Jacobs is the best gardenia fragrance I have tried, the flowers are light and fragrant, not too sweet. It really does smell like gardenias floating on water. I just ordered Marc Jacob Essence because I love the original and the great reviews. Perfume.com makes it easy to try new and wonderful scents.

If you are antisocial, Marc Jacobs by Marc Jacobs is not the perfume for you. When you wear this fragrance people will stop to inquire about it.
