Review of Marc Jacobs by Matthew Rogers
A little too floral for me. I have trouble smelling it also. I still like it especially because of the bottle/cap and the females really take notice and enjoy it. ;)

Review of Marc Jacobs by Guy Prebeg
Marc Jacobs cologne for men is a wonderful addition to the plethora of products he produces. The cologne smells fantastic, is nicely subtle and not overpowering like others. Shopping online at perfume.com was very easy and saved me about $15.00. I recommend this for site for all your cologne and perfume purchases.

Review of Marc Jacobs by Dorene Juvenal
Oh my God, I can't keep my hands off of my husband when he wears this. I purchased this when it first came out and we Love it. I think it is one of the best cologne's for men. I will buy this for him from now until they no longer make it if that is at all possible. Men wear it and find out you will attract the ladies.

Review of Marc Jacobs by Tuyet Ng
I had bought this for my boyfriend, but find that I can't stop using it for myself as well. Both he and I think Marc Jacobs men has something different that no other smell has, it smells fresh and clean, and yet sophisticated at the same time. I am always smelling my clothes or wrist when I wear this. I've been getting a lot of compliments, and its very unique

Review of Marc Jacobs by Sharo Lilly
When my daughter and I went shopping for a new scent to wear on her wedding day, I sampled Marc Jacobs for Women EDT spray. Favoring floral scents in the past, I was delightfully surprised by this cologne. I purchased a gift set of Marc Jacobs Essence for Women for her and another featuring Marc Jacobs for Women for myself. Both colognes have a unique light exotic floral scent that would would imagine encountering in a tropical paradise. I have everyday scents that I wear, but save Marc Jacobs for special dates so I never will grow tired of its aomatic essence.

Review of Marc Jacobs by Benjamin Young
It's hard to describe this fragrance. My vocabulary isn't deficient - it just doesn't smell like anything else out there. There is no apparent floral or citrus scent to it, and it doesn't smell like cheap deoderant, as seems to be the trend for many other colognes. There's just a subtle warmness about the scent. I got interested in this while I was shopping in a fragrance outlet and the clerk said she's wild about it but nobody she knows wears it. With my mind on my purse strings, I ordered it on here and it quickly became my signature cologne. Manly without being overpowering, stylish without the outlandish pricetag, obscure enough to ensure you'll be noticed, and perhaps best of all...it lasts. I don't know if there is some way to intentionally make cologne "wear off" quickly to sell more, but if there is, Marc Jacobs doesn't know about it. One spray lasts all day. The stuff is so good it inspired me to rhyme in the previous sentence. There seriously might be pheremones in this stuff because it's the closest thing to Spanish Fly I have ever discovered.

Review of Marc Jacobs by A. Woolsey
Marc Jacobs for Men starts out promisingly enough, with a sweet fig note reminiscent of coconut. It’s simultaneously green and sweet, both fresh as a Mediterranean garden and exotic as a Polynesian beach. And the scent wisely stays light so as not to suffocate with this potential green-sweetness, either. Sadly, the drydown goes very insipid, choosing the same bland anonymous woods-synthetic musks every other mainstream men’s scent seems to be going for. What was something quite unique becomes very boring indeed. If only the creativity stretched beyond the first fifteen minutes, Marc Jacobs for Men could have been great.

Review of Marc Jacobs by Scent Hound
Marc Jacobs first fragrance for men is a qualified success. Very green topnotes, redolent with fresh fig and a light coconut accord, provide a very good initial impression. Unfortunately, the scent lacks depth, which to me limits it to summer time wear. It shines as a hot weather scent, making it a good alternative once you get tired of citrus.

Review of Marc Jacobs by R. M.
This scent is amazing, both the one for men and the one for women. I own the perfume and I bought my boyfriend the one for men. They are both light and fresh-smelling, lasting just as long as you'd like a scent to last. They're guaranteed to get you at least one compliment, if those you meet have any sense of smell.

Review of Marc Jacobs by John Smith
Marc Jacobs is an American fashion designer, raised in New York. Following his studies at the Parsons School of Design, he became prominent on the fashion scene when he designed a "grunge" collection for Perry Ellis, leading to his immediate dismissal. Jacobs is currently the artistic director for Louis Vuitton, spearheading such collaborations as Stephen Sprouse's graffiti bags and Takashi Murakami's pastel-colored accessories. His own clothing lines, Marc Jacobs and the less expensive Marc By Marc Jacobs, are also extremely popular. Marc Jacobs has been known to design under his own free will without following trends. In Spring 2004/2005, when designers were following the "safari theme'", Marc Jacobs made his collection completely lady-like and the catwalk which the models walked on had an archway of 450,000 roses. For his fall collection in 2005, he got some terrible reviews and some fantastic ones. He is set to bring out a watch collection this year under the name Marc Jacobs. These watches will be classic and timeless features with a slightly vintage feel. His clothes are available in many countries around the world. Marc Jacobs is Jewish and openly gay. At Marc Jacob's Spring 2006 New York Fashion Week show, the Penn State marching band opened the show with a throbbing rendition of Nirvana's 'Smells Like Teen Spirit', allowing the audience to enjoy a moment of high-school nostalgia. He is very good friends with the likes of Sofia Coppola, Selma Blair and Jessica Stam, and has been known to name his signature Marc Jacobs bags after friends like these. In 1997, Jacobs became the creative director of Louis Vuitton, and created the company's first "Ready to wear" line of clothing.

Review of Marc Jacobs by Perfumed One
I'm a woman and I love this fragrance - on me and my husband. It's hard to find a fig scent that doesn't have a tropical or coconut undertone or isn't unpleasantly green. This is softly green and very figgy, but lacks the sweet basenotes that ruin most women's figs for me. This isn't a traditionally masculine scent - it doesn't scream cologne. It's fresh and perfect for summer.

Review of Marc Jacobs by E. Mason
Great scent with plenty of fig undertones. This smells great on men, classic and masculine, yet understated. This is one the few men's scents I've used during the winter as an evening scent.

I love this scent, my husband wears this one all the time, it is a light scent, not over powering. Smells clean and yet sexy.

Review of Marc Jacobs by Kathleen Kelly
Marc Jacobs is a rather unique scent, as it combines a traditional musk with fruity, fig undertones. It has a certain androgenous appeal, and I think either gender could actually wear it. However, the fig and spices definitely give off a masculine vibe. The scent reminds me of an exotic sophistication of the Far East. It's not your traditional pine and cedar-scented fragrance, so keep that in mind when giving it a try.

Review of Marc Jacobs by Adam Pyle
I think this is one of the few fragrances I have continued to wear longer than just a few months. While typically fickle, I find myself strangely obsessed with this fragrance. It is considered a mossy woods type of scent, but I also find that it conjures a somewhat tropical image (perhaps from the figgy notes). It's a lovely scent that is sure to win many compliments.

Review of Marc Jacobs by Rick Maton
Marc Jacobs (for men) I found to be a fantastic and original scent. It's fresh, woodsy, green, with subtle fruity, sweet and spicy hints. I find it difficult to explain since it has lots of varied fragrance notes combined in it. It is not overpowering and may be slightly weak to some people, which I actually like about it. It's relaxing yet elegant and modern. It maintains its scent fairly long, yet close to the skin once dry. A unique fragrance that I would recommend trying out.

Review of Marc Jacobs by Laura Smith
This is "swoon worthy" on a male. In fact, it smells so great a female could absolutely carry this off. However, I find it mixes with the male chemistry so perfect that you just want to snuggle in their shirt. My husband wanted something that smelled a little like wood. I had him try this with notes of cedar and fig. He loved it(I loved it even more). It's very long lasting and is my absolute favorite male fragrance. The bottle is also sleek and classic. When my husband was on a trip I spritzed some on me and my sister had commented how nice I smelled. So, give it a try, I think it's a winner for whoever wears it.

Review of Marc Jacobs by Zachary Mc Connell
Mmmm...this scent is just plain appetizing, ranking up there with Thierry Mugler's Angel Men on the yum-o-meter, even though this scent isn't as sweet (which can be good or bad given your personal tastes in colognes). The fig note in this scent just stands out...reminding you of a tropical paradise, even though that's probably not what Marc Jacobs had in mind when creating it. I feel like I'll have to get a bottle of this soon...
