Review of Eclat d'Arpege by Audrey

This fragrance is amazing. Lanvin has captured the feeling of love between a mother and daughter. This scent, Eclat d'Arpege Perfume for Women by Lanvin, reminds me of the times where I used to sleep next to my mom and bury my nose in her hair. I like the fresh, crisp notes at the beginning but i love the deep essence that surrounds you after. I don't use this as a perfume, but I like to spray it into my fresh laundry so the woody scents will stay in my clothes :)

Soft and light. One of those fragrances that is noticeable if you are near someone, like the person in line next to you. Far from overpowering. Unique, beautiful scent. My only issue with the fragrance is that the scent doesn't last long, maybe and hour or two.

If you like Light Blue by Dolce&Gabbana and I Love Love by Moschino, you will definitely like this one, too. It is refreshing and I can smell lemon and peach all the time I wear it.It is far from being overpowering,so people around you will enjoy it,too.I am just a bit disappointed because it doesn't hold on my skin, but this factor is always individual and is dependent upon your skin and body chemistry.

this is amazing! I love this. When I first tried the sample tube tester, i thought it smelt so much like this fragrance my mum used to have. I was too young to know whats what so i never knew what that fragrance is actually and my mum has totally no idea what I'm referring to. Anyway, this brings back so much memories (especially of that lovely little bottle of unknown perfume I loved). Éclat is not too lasting on me though, probably for 2-3 hours. But it doesn't matter to me because it smells too great!

The mailing was on time ad the packaging was practical and neat. The perfume was delightful and my daughter loved it. It has been difficult to find this Lanvin in many stores. Thank you.

First and foremost my purchase of Eclat D'Arpege by Lanvin was purchased as a gift for my Aunt. Not only was this purchase a gift purchase but as it turns out this was also my first purchase from Pefume.com--ceratinly not my last! Back to the review of Eclat though, my Aunt and I found the fraganance to be light-not overpowering and noticable-but not intrusive. As a side note my Aunt has severe allergies and many perfumes cause her to begin having headaches--not the case with Eclat D'Arpege--she loves having a perfume that she can enjoy without the headaches!!!

My husband bought this for me and it's wonderful. Fresh pretty scent and I get compliments all the time. I also have several perfumes but choose this one for special events.

I have been wearing Eclat for almost 4 years now and I absolutely love it!!! I usually keep 5+ perfumes at a time and just rotate them out when I get tired of one, but Eclat is one I can't seem to retire...It's so fresh ~ gets lots of compliments!!

A friend of mine had this perfume and I absolutley loved it! I unfortunatley could only find it at one department store that was a drive away. I also found it to be pretty pricey at the store, but I loved the fragrance so much I bought and used it sparingly to conserve. Now that I found it on this website, I was so excited I now use it EVERYDAY! It's a light floral frangance that is not over powering and very unique. I get compliments all time and don't think I can ever get sick of it! It's great for special occasions or everyday use. I have to say the price on this website is phenominal (compared to the department store). Well worth the purchase. This will be "my scent" for a very long time!

I think this is the best women's fragrance. Similar to Dolce & Gabanna Light Blue but better than that. thanks Lanvin

This fragrance is the epitomy of a classy woman to me. When I first found it in a Sephora store I fell in love and search the internet for it. It's sweet, light and feminine but with a clear scent without being too light. This is a beautifully classy fragrance that gives the impression of a sophistocatedly sweet woman.

This is an amazing frangrance. It isn't a perfume but an air that surrounds the woman who wears it, carrying a sense of sweet sophistocation. It is not overpowering but makes you feel like a truly classy lady. I love this fragrance and nothing would make me want to wear anything else!

Review of Eclat d'Arpege by Free Gracer

A few years ago the House of Lanvin commissioned perfume nose Karine Dubreuil to develop a modern interpretation of their flagship fragrance Arpege. After nine months of research and experimentation, Karine developed this beautiful and delicate perfume known today as Eclat d’Arpege and introduced to the public in 2002. This fragrance opens with the sparkle and effervescence of green lilac leaves, Sicilian lemon leaves and the breath of wisteria. The heart is rounded out with green tea, peach blossom, Chinese osmanthus and red peony. Precious white cedar of Lebanon, musk and amber undergird the whole mélange and add a sensual backdrop to the delicate florals and fruits. Since Eclat was inspired by the original Arpege, the House of Lanvin has presented this fragrance in its famous Art Deco boule, with some updates to distinguish it from the original Arpege. The boule for Eclat is clear so that the user can see the beautifully lilac tinged liquid inside. Paul Iribe’s logo, adopted by the House of Lanvin in the 1920s, of mother and child dressing for a ball (Jeanne Lanvin and her daughter Marie-Blanche), decorates the boule, of course, in keeping with the “Arpege” theme. The top of the bottle is completed with a “diamond” finial, and there are two wedding bands around the rim of the bottle. The wedding bands represent the unity of perfume and couture, the joining of art and industry, and most importantly, the unity between a man and a woman. The initial impression of Eclat d’Arpege may remind one of Dolce and Gabbana’s Light Blue. The opening notes may be similar, it’s true, but the drydown of each fragrance is completely different. Light Blue is more similar to Estee Lauder's White Linen in its drydown, whereas Eclat stays light and sparkling throughout. A true fragrance soprano. It never, ever becomes heavy or chemically. Perfect for warm weather wear, Eclat d’Arpege is ethereal, feminine, and completely romantic. Bright and cheery as a clear spring day.
