Hypnose Perfume is heavenly. I have been wearing it since 2006. It is a lasting scent, good for day or night wear. I am always complemented when I wear it. All products used together enhance the fragrance. I would like it if there was a body oil or mist with a light scent to use to even enhance more.

They should have called this one "magnifique" this perfume is sooooo nice it is so unusual but in a good way! I've never smelled ANYTHING like this! I would like to wear this more often but it is a little bit pricey so I can wear it when I go out on dates with my man or when the kids and I go to a movie! This smells really pretty! Strong at first but I like my perfume strong so people can smell it!I give Hypnose a perfect 10!

Smells very similar to M by Mariah Carey but I'd rather buy M it is cheaper and comes in a full size bottle I don't like 2.5 oz being the biggest size it isn't big enough and it is the usual size for mens cologne!Hypnose smells good but not good enough to make me want to spend that much $!

When I first received a sample of Lancome's new fragrance - HYPNOSE - on thanksgiving weekend 2005 I was FLOORED! I wasn't sure what essential oils, fragrances, essences, whatever they're called-were in this fragrance but I WAS IN LOVE!!! At the time I'd been without a "signature" fragrance for about 3 years and had just about given up. Then along came HYPNOSE and I was ENAMORED and had to have it! Immediately it became MY fragrance and I love it still. The dry down tweeks my senses and makes me feel happy, pleased with life, uplifted, and rejuvenated. I only wear it on pulsepoints and it is always longwearing, yet very subtle--never overpowering. I even keep the caps of all my empties on my nightstand in a royal blue glass bowl. I take a whif every night before sleeping and first thing in the morning upon waking. For me there is no other. Tammy

I bought Lancome's Hypnose after smelling it in a magazine strip when it first came out. I am normally not a fan of oriental florals, but Hypnose is one of those scents that struck a cord in me. Hypnose is a gorgeous innofensive light vanilla scent that has an almost lemony dry down on me. I am a fragrance addict and normally it's women who comment on what I'm wearing, but I've had several men compliment me on my fragrance. It's not an overpowering or cloying scent it just leaves a nice waft of scent as you walk by. As an added bonus, I love the look of the bottle!

I just started wearing perfume because I have very sensitive skin, but once I smelled Hypnose and how soft and sensual it was, I had to have it! It wears well on my skin and mixes with my body chemistry very well. I would recommend this to anyone who is sensitive but wants to wear a perfume. I consider this a spring/summer fragrance and the JPG and Burberry a fall/winter fragrance. Perfume.com is Great!! Thanks for bringing the low, low prices.

I love, love, love this perfume. It is light and femine and floral with just enough musk to not be too flowery. This perfume lasts a long time and I get compliments all the time. I own so many perfumes, but this bottle is already half gone I love it so much and lately it's the only bottle I grab for. It is soft enough for daytime at the office and I can wear it at night to go out with the girls, no matter where I am or where I go, when I wear this fragrance, I feel like a beautiful woman. I highly recommend it.

I recently purchased this scent after smelling it in a favorite store.I could not rest until I had it! I have literally 50 bottles or more of perfumes;so you could say I am slightly addicted.But this Hypnose has drawn more attention from people who enjoy it than any other brand I have worn! I smell hints of vanilla, a subtle lilac and mostly a light baby powder scent. I feel fresh all day wearing this and can't wait to put it on in the mornings.

To describe Hypnose's scent as rotten fruit masked by vanilla (I'm paraphrasing here) is so ludicrous, I had to write a review myself. I like Hypnose a lot, and although its not my all-time favorite, I feel it needs to be defended. It's definitely a unique scent. To me the scent is a little powdery, and call me crazy, but I get a hint of those old time violet candies that come in the silver and purple box. I know some people hate them -- so if you do, maybe this one is not for you. The bottle and color are beautiful and since I got it, I've been wearing it most often. At any rate, if you like trying new scents certainly check this one out because it's not something you've likely smelled before -- and its far from rotting fruit. Geez.

One of the best Lancome scents. I love it. I think it's very unique and daring. There really isn't a way to describe the actual scent except that it's nothing that I have ever smelled before. It has a warm, clean smell. It is a little strong so you only need a little bit. I received a sample of this in a Lancome gift bag and I really like it and have already used the entire sample.

I have a hard time describing this scent but the only thing that comes to my mind first is strong. If I had to guess I would say it smells a bit too heavy on the lavendar or lilac side. This one stays on strong as well. I had a few magazine sameples that I opened a couple of days ago and when I went back to smell them most of them had considerably faded so that you could barely detect a scent. Hypnose smelled like I had just opened it. Not for me.

I smelled this one over at my Gram's house. She had a tiny sample bottle out and she said she got it from the department store for buying some other perfume. she told me to smell it because she thought it was just great and that she was going to go out and buy a large bottle of it. I smelled it and I really didn't like it. It smells too much like really strong flowers. I like the pretty purple color though. Purple is my favorite color.

Got a very generous GWP of this the other day. I liked the bottle (vain, I know) and felt pretty exited about it. My first thought was "hmm...well...interesting" but the drydown was horrible. It is very sweet and flowery. I would say that vanilla is the main note in this, because that is pretty much all I can smell in this. Not anything unique at all!

I am leaning more towards not so hot for the Lancome Hypnose. It is a very confusing scent which makes it a little mysterious but then again it reminds me of a man's scented deodorant which turns me off. Or even an aftershave. I wouldn't recommend this. For this price of this one, I would definetly sample it before I paid this much for it. Thumbs down here.

Hypnose by Lancome is somewhat interesting. It has a somewhat oriental fragrance that is somewhat distinctive, unlike anything I've ever experienced from the other perfumes from Lancome. It is somewhat sweet to the scent. I can almost smell something fruity but can't quite say what. I would definitely give this perfume a try.

When I first tried this on in the store I walked around shopping and was drawn to my wrist the rest of the day, I just had to buy it. I love the slight, not overpowering lilac scent it has. I give it 3 stars because I have had it only for a few months and am sick of it. I think there are better, more unique perfumes out there.

Hypnose by Lancome perfume just sucks!! i try using perfumes based on the shapes usually which i like.so i liked this shape and the colour and tried using it just smells stinky!!! That night i was sleeping and my husband is like oh yuck what is that perfume u r using now i didnt like it so i had a bitterfull night that day.so i dont recommend it 2 anyone.

I sampled this at the mall last month when I first saw it in an ad from some magazine. It has a distinctive scent that I can't quite place what. I think it's a pretty sweet scent, not quite something you would call beautiful. It's somewhat musky. Quite difficult to describe. You just have to try it yourself. I'd wear it on a warm evening.

I could not have hated Hypnôse more. This was just horrendous stuff. It starts off with this loud, thick smell, like that of cheap childrens' chewing gum. It's a big, tutti-frutti vulgarity that no one over ten years of age should be caught dead wearing. it wears down to a thick, one-dimensional vanilla smell not unlike cheap cake batter. Yuck. Just... yuck. This maybe an okay scent for a young girl to wear playing dress-up, but for a grown woman? No way. Hypnôse borders on the offensive.

Hypnose by Lancome is a very pretty fruity vanilla fragrance. I've never smelled passionfruit in a perfume before so I was excited to test this one out. If you like the smell of mango or papaya you will probably like this one too. Very tropical feeling. As it dries down it becomes richer with the addition of a smooth creamy vanilla. The passionfruit is never entirely lost. It is not a foody fragrance but it comes close. Hypnose is very sweet and creamy. I imagine passionfruit icecream. After wearing it for a few hours I did decide that it was not for me. Many tropical fruits smell rotten to me and passionfruit is no exception. The impression that I got from Hypnose was that of rotten fruit being masked by vanilla. Not pleasant. All in all the perfume is well done and pretty, it just doesn't work for my nose. The bottle is gorgeous though. I love the blue-violet color of the juice inside.

I just got this yesterday on a perfume shopping trip during which I must have smelled about forty scents. This was my favorite of the day. The publicity says it is passion flower, vanilla, and vetiver but, as the other review noted, it's not a floral scent. I'd still call it an Oriental with a hint of incense. The dry-down is mainly to vanilla, but vanilla with a little edge. Beautiful, beautiful bottle--the picture doesn't do it justice.

I'm super picky about perfumes. for my valentines day gift, I told my husband I wanted him to pick one out for me. He picked this one, and I absolutely love it! It smells a little flowery, but not too much (I hate too much flower). It's also kinda sweet, but subtle. It's not musky, I hate musky scents. Most importantly, it's not way overpowering! I put it on this morning, and I can still just smell it on my skin. Happy shopping!
