The opening notes are very fresh, with top notes of bergamot, pink grapefruit, plum, and apple. The heart encompasses sharp spruce, cardamom, pink pepper, and violet. The base is soft and musky, with notes of rum, sandalwood, vanilla, cedar, incense, and musk.

I ordered Lacoste Original for my adult son for Christmas. It is his all-time favorite cologne but, because it is so pricey, he has done without it for a couple of years. Then I found Perfume.com and Lacoste at 36% off. It arrived in a timely manner and looked just as if it came from the high-end stores. I have ordered several fragrances from Perfume.com and have never been disappointed.
