Review of Essential by Jack

I use this for daytime and love it. I think once it drys down it is simular to dolce light blue. I use lacoste essential and dolce light blue they are both great.

Review of Essential by Michael B

The cologne itself has a great scent that is unparalleled in uniqueness and casual sophistication. However like many have said, the scent does wear away. It would be wise to apply two sprays twice a day or right before you go out somewhere. Other than the short lifespan of the scent, it is fantastic.

Review of Essential by Some Guy

this cologne has a great smell, but not at first. after you spray it on you and as time goes by, it actually starts to smell better.

Review of Essential by Marco Hdz

This fragance is great, nothing that I had tried before and it smells spectacular, clean and fresh, like a beautiful morning where green mixes with the blue sea.

got this one for Christmas. smells great at first but wears away quite quickly.. so i usually spray twice on the collar and a half spray on the wrist. that usually lasts 'till about 1 in the afternoon.. never the less it is a sweet smelling cologne. one of my favorites. : )

Review of Essential by Eric Sill

Lacoste Essential is definitely a strong scent. It really does stick with the skin becoming "awakened" when the body warms, a real classic product that I think will be around forever. I like to think of this cologne as a way to stay cool in the summer because the musk within the middle to low notes. Beautiful, simply a masterpiece.

Review of Essential by Steven Adams

This is an outstanding light daytime scent. For a lighter sense it has a "sexiness" about it. Going out to a nice Brunch somewhere, this is the scent.

Review of Essential by Patricia Milner

I purchased it for my son. When he received it for Christmas he wasn't to sure about the scent. At first he thought it smelled like woman's perfume. But after a while he seemed to like the scent and said it did't smell like woman's perfume as he thought at first.

I love Lacoste Essential , I really really love it. It has a manlier scent but smells great even on my wrists where I usually like to spray the tester bottle in the store. I absolutely adore this perfume and think that it is in my top 10 of all good perfumes for men. Get it.

Review of Essential by A. Woolsey

As clean, fresh scents go, Lacoste Essential is actually pretty good. True, it's heavily synthetic, but it takes several twists that scents of this genre do not. Instead of citrus, Essential goes of cassis (black currant), so it has a slight fruitiness that is unusual. And it also has a pink peppercorn note that gives it a bit of bite. But the most intriguing addition is the rose heart note. This unique floral addition makes Essential resemble a sort of modernist version of Acqua di Parma. No, it's not great, but, as sporty department store scents go, Lacoste Essential is definitely above average.

Review of Essential by Smelly Smelly

This is a very clean, fresh, green and a little sweet scent. It's not particularly long-lasting though. The "time-release" technology advertised in this scent seems to be more marketing than anything. This might be a good choice for the gym bag, because it is a rather uplifting, unobtrusive scent, much like Polo Sport.

This is another one of those good smelling scents. Lacoste, in my book is one of the best makers of Cologne. I own Lacoste Red and Lacoste Original and both of them are great. I smelled this one at Macy's and right away knew I had to get it. They claim that this scent is heat activated, meaning when your body heats up, the smell gets stronger. I've yet to try it out for an entire day, but a great smell nonetheless.

lascost essentials by lacoste is a pretty strong smell which is pretty unusual considereing it isnt an overpowering smell to begin with and also because the cologe is very sweet and not very musky and masculine. although the smell doesnt get much weaker as the day passes, the smell does change from a sweet nice smelling scent to something a little less pleasant smelling. The aftertones seem a little off for me in theis cologne.

Review of Essential by David Toma

Lacoste essential isnt that great of a cologne, at least to me , it has a smell that seems to get worse as the day goes along it smells terrific initally but the scent seems to strengthen throughout the day. If you spend long days at the office i strongly dont recomend this cologne.

Review of Essential by Wayne Bruce

I'm not a very big fan of Lacoste Essential. I bought this cologne two years ago and everytime I wear it, people always say how bad I smell, or ask out loud, "What is that nasty/cheap cologne I smell?" I do not reccommend this cologne to anyone and would not wish even my worst enemy to buy it! Do yourself a favor, and stay away from this.

Review of Essential by Henry Mullin

This sent is one of lacoste's worst. is very overpowering and its "woodsy notes" are way to sweet and the overall scent is a very bad one.
