Kenzo Perfume and Kenzo Cologne
Aspiring designer Kenzo Takada joined Tokyo's Bunka Fashion College in 1958, just as the school changed its policy to allow in male students. After earning his diploma there Kenzo settled in Paris, mixing multiple pieces of bold flea market fabrics to create his first designs-- the only material the young designer could afford.
In 1970 Kenzo presented his first collection at the Vivienne Gallery, to rave reviews; he opened his first store "Jungle Jap" the same year, and had one of his designs worn on the cover of ELLE, winning the attention of the American fashion world. Continuing the frenzied whirlwind of support, Kenzo was able to present his next collections in NYC and Tokyo as well, and enjoyed a stream of success well into the 1980s, when he launched both his first men's line, and his first women's fragrance. Takada retired in 1999, leaving his label under the guidance of his successors.

I first discovered Kenzo Summer Perfume for Women by Kenzo in a store in London and immediatelly fell in love with it. This is the ideal summer day in a bottle. Warm and sunny, it comforts me as much as no other fragrance. It's flowery scent but not at all overpowering and it stays in your clothes for a long time. Absolutely love it!!!

Review of Kenzo Jungle l'Elephant by Patricia A. Glogg
My husband brought this back for me while he was away. It never fails to elicit a comment. People ask for the name of the perfume. While I don't smell it on myself unless I deliberately sniff a pulse point, even late in the day people comment on it! i love the cardamom and patchouli combination.
