  Where can I begin. I have a very intimate history with this fragrance, in fact I went through 7/8ths of a 125ml bottle in the first ~6 months with my now long-term girlfriend, and I have a 75 ml bottle in my wardrobe at present, and am considerring buying another. The initial blast is strong. Lemon, pineapple and something else I cant put my finger on. It is certainly fresh, fresher than anything I've ever smelt. Aquatics and citrus colognes have nothing on this; not even L'eau d'Issey, Aqua di Gio or any of the numerous 'fresh aquatic' brigade can begin to start on this fragrances freshness. Its a perfect morning 'picker upper,' even if your hungover. The next stage is even more sensual; aromatic whiffs like a finely aged spirit. Its also quite dry, and dare I say its good for clearing out the nostrils. The last stage is bliss; a woody, ambery, even slightly sandalwood-y fragrance that intensifies immensely with body heat and sweat. I've found that when I wear this, in 'passionate moments' Nightflight really starts to shine. This is probably the 1 fragrance that suits me most in my wardrobe, and I am considering buying at least 2-3 bottles as 'backups.' For the price you can get it for on ebay, its just ridiculous. My absolute favorite. 10/10.

  i've been wearing joop nightflight for over 10 years. the scent if very clean smelling and not over bearing. i've had people walk into a room where i was sitting and say "who smells absolutley fantastic". i love that kind of response. i understand it is mfg by a german guy by the name of wolfgang, and have been told that he is discontinuing it. i hope not, it would be a big mistake. in the meantime, if i need more, i know where to find it! thank you- jackie

  I had this cologne in high school, and then the local department stores stopped carrying it. Mind you, this was in the mid-90s, so once Dayton's stopped carrying it, two of my friends and I thought that they stopped making it. One friend had a 4.2 oz bottle and we would ration out the precious remaining sprays between the three of us. Now, ten years later, I typed in Nightflight as a lark and sure enough, I was able to buy it. At the time that we wore it in high school, everyone wanted to know what it was because it was different from Acqua di Gio, Curve, Tommy, Hugo, ck One and Cool Water. Now everyone wants to know what I'm wearing because it's different from (sigh) Acqua di Gio, Polo Blue, Armani Mania, and Calvin Klein Man. Hardly anyone wears this cologne, but I'll swear by it. It has fresh, deep topnotes of citrus, pinneapple, and apple that settles into a bold flowery scent that is reinforced by the topnotes. The basenotes mingle beautifully during the dry down with the boldness of the flowery scent... Highly recommended for a dinner and date. I can promise that the majority of women that you run into will say you smell wonderful, while a small minority will say that you smell only "good". Nobody, however, will ever tell you that you smell bad...unless you overdo it with the sprays. Buy this cologne. For reference:: Age: 27 location: Minnesota
