  My first contact with John Varvatos cologne was at the duty free shopping at Heathrow airport. I have never looked back since. This is my favorite cologne! Colleagues at work always ask me what is the name. I recommend it for a romantic outings.

  I bought John Varvatos because I smelled the bottle at a friends house and thought it smelled very nice, however when my bottle arrived and I tried it for the first time I was disappointed with the fragrance. It seemed to have more of a musk scent and less of a spicy scent than I had remebered. Let that be a lesson to me, I will have to actually test apply a fragrance before selecting it again. I did try it again to see if applying it to my clothing would be any different because I understand that some fragrances can have a significant reaction with your body chemistry, but still not a favorite for me and I won't be using it anymore.
