So luxurious
I am a great fan of the Jean Patou fragrances. This one is sublimity itself and I wear it every day. The compliments keep on coming whenever I'm out and about. This is surely one of my favorite Patou scents.

The Classic
1000 is my winter perfume. I have used it for over 30 years. It is classic, subtle, warm and lingers. It works as a perfume should and that makes it very hard to describe. People seem to notice that I have been in a room...and the closet to a comment I get is, "you smell nice" rather than "your perfume smells nice". I would recommend it for those whose style is mature, classic and serious. This is not a young girl's scent.

I am SOOOOO pleased. I've been wanting 1000 for years!

Smells like Paris in the 40's
Jean Patou 1000 is a fresh scent that reminds one of years past. It is different than any other fragrances I've ever used. It's clean smelling and smart. It makes me think of those fashionable ladies in the late 40's sitting in a little cafe' in Paris having coffee on a rainy day.

A Scent like none other
Jean Patou 1000 has a smell like no other scent I've ever tried. I love and usually wear ADM Alexandra but wanted a change. When I read that Angelica Houston wears JP 1000 I was intrigued. I like her and I thought I'd probably like the scent. I was right. I love it. It's just so different. I'm starting to wear it just as often as my ADM Alexandra. 1000 is a little lighter so it's better for Summertime then Alexandra which is very heavy. JP 1000 reminds me of an earlier time, maybe the 1920's. It's romantic and clean smelling at the same time.
