OMG!!! I totally love this. It is not too much, yet quite complex. It is my new favorite for sure!!!! I had tried to blend sents before and was looking for exactly what I have found in Bal A Versailles Perfume for Women by Jean Desprez. It is so versatile as it is subtle yet just lovely.

Review of Bal A Versailles by Anne Cathrine Saxlund
The scent is wonderful. I have had the perfume only once before, about 35 years ago, but never forgotten it and always looked for it. But first now I have found it again. It is sweet and spicy but does not feel heavy. If a perfume is heavy I get headace and feel sick at once. But this one I could smell all the time and just feel happy!

Review of Bal A Versailles by Pamela Kmiec
When I was three years old I was given a gift of a set of perfume miniatures - amongst which was Bal a Versailles. I loved it then, and more and more over the decades. I'm all for variety, and have several scents I enjoy, but Bal a Versailles is the standard by which all others should be measured. It's soft, sophisticated, NEVER overpowering - yet subtly and sensually present. You can't do better than this! Floral, citrus, amber - it's ambrosia.
