About 5 yrs ago we were having dinner at a next door neighbor's house. When the husband hugged me as we entered, I was blown over by how wonderful he smelled. I made him tell me what he was wearing and immediately bought some for my husband. It made for a great dinner topic how all the women were going crazy over this scent. My husband now won't wear anything else. L'Eau d'Issey by Issey Miyake is lucious and sexy but not overpowering.

L'Eau d'Issey by Issey Miyake is a favorite of mine. A very unique fragrance not at all similar to the trend fragrances that are out. I also like that I rarely notice other men wearing the same and when a pretty women inquires what I'm wearing that doesn't hurt my feelings either.

all the reviews put together wont even make up what i want to say. the best colgne ever. i have been wearing L'Eau d'Issey by Issey Miyake for a long time and each time, people especially women go crazy about it. i guess because i was used to the scent i never knew what it really could do cos everybody asks me what i am wearing and i wonder why, then i decided to let it go for a week. guess what? i met this guy during a taping of dancing with the stars and he was wearing it. i could smell him from about 30ft hallway away from me. then i really understood. and it was the best thing i had ever smelt.

L'Eau d'Issey by Issey Miyake has done a great job on this cologne. It has a summer beachy smell to it, but isn't too overly cool and watery like Cool Water or Polo Blue. It has a definite sweet smell to it, but make no doubt, it is a men's cologne. The smell isn't too powerful either, so unfortunately it doesn't last too long either.

The best cologne ever!! L'Eau d'Issey by Issey Miyake is a bit pricey, but well worth it. Every woman I have ever gone out with has raved over this. I would actually get women that would rub themselves on me for the scent. I have caught more than one woman spraying this on for herself becasue they just love the scent. I am pretty sensitive to cologne and this is one of the few scents I can tolerate without getting a headache. Women love this!!! You must get it and you will not be sorry! I have had old girlfriends hug me and just remark how this cologne reminds them of me and how much they love it. Can't rate it high enough!!!

There is no nice way to say this, so I am going to just say it: If you are not a particularly attractive male, you MUST take advantage of smelling good, so picking a quality scent is important . If you are an average male, this scent can definately give you an edge. A male I knew for years and never thought of as attractive wore this scent once and I thought it made a dramatic difference in how attractive I perceived him. It does not come across as heavy or artificial, more of a subtle warm cedar scent. Masculine but not macho. Sort of gentle but not wimpy. It smells a bit different on various guys I have noticed. Most guys tell me that girls always compliment them when they wear this.

Like Kenzo pour homme, L'Eau d'Issey by Issey Miyake is a different kind of aquatic scent. It's a lot more earthy than other aquatics, and it works very well in any season. This scent also lasts and lasts, which is more than can be said for other aquatic scents. A little pricey, but worth every penny.
