Launched by Gwen Stefani in 2008 Harajuku Lovers ‘Music’ perfume is a floral with notes of clementine, pear, jasmine, sweet pea, honeysuckle, vanilla and musk Gwen Stefani’s gang of Harajuku girls (named after the cool, crazy fashion-y Harajuku district in Tokyo) who she sings about and are also her back up dancers now have a line of perfumes in their honour. There are five fragrances in Gwen Stefani's Harajuko Lovers Line. The bottles are two-piece “dolls” that are molded differently according to their Harajuku counterpart, making displaying these on your vanity counter that much more fun. Music is tough with attitude. Music Perfume has top notes of clementine and sparkling pear; a heart of jasmine sambac, sweet pea and honeysuckle, and a drydown of vanilla, skin musk and sleek woods.
