Review of Drakkar Noir by Ed Chester

I buy what my wife likes and this time it was Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche. She says it has a nice noticeable scent but not overpowering. I bought the tester as it is for personal use and other than being in a white box that says test it is the same bottle and cap. We check the scents at the mall department stores then buy here at half the cost.

A masculine, woody + heady fragrance that is very distinct to Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche. You'll always know the scent of your man once you get to know him in Drakkar.

Review of Drakkar Noir by Lannie Wynn

I have always enjoyed the smell of men - sometimes with or without a purchased fragrance. But when a good friend wore this scent to a party - I fell in love with the fragrance. Just the thoughts of it today brings a smile to my face. Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche is such a wonderful fragrance that the magic stays with both the wearer, and the lucky person sitting next to him.

Review of Drakkar Noir by Doris Pizzuto

Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche has a pleasant enough scent, not overbearing. Personally, I prefer perfumes and colognes with a bit more of a "woody" scent.

Review of Drakkar Noir by Ulrich Beck

Ran into it the first time in 1986 when I was stationed at a training camp of the French Amy - well they had of course a Duty Free shop there ... has been my favorite ever since. This is THE gentleman's fragrance par excellence. I have tried other versions - even went to the factories in Grasse/Southern France - but nothing beats the real thing! It is fresh and long lasting - never overpowering, just comfortable for you and everybody around you.

My boyfriend said that Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche was his favorite cologne to wear, so, I chose to buy him some for Valentine's Day... I had never smelled it before, but since he liked it and it seemed popular enough in reviews...what the heck! When he first put it on I honestly thought it smelled only of pine, he read my mind and told me to wait out the initial piney smell...I'm happy to report that if handsome was a scent than it would smell like Drakkar Noir!

Review of Drakkar Noir by Brenda

The first guy I ever fell in love with wore this cologne. I have never forgotten the smell of him. Men out there, if you want a girl to notice you and remember you, take a chance, spend a little money and knock her off her feet. Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche will do the trick for you.

Review of Drakkar Noir by Chris Mc Carthy

Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche Smells great and is noticable by people, but in a good way. Not overpowering where people couch and choke or their eyes start to water, but a smell that is great, demands power, and also seems to impress the ladies. ;)

Review of Drakkar Noir by Alex Andersen

Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche was the first scent for men that my then-fiance introduced me to almost 20 years ago. I can't think of a better approval for a product--she loved it and wanted me to wear it for her.

Review of Drakkar Noir by Simone Krul

Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche is one of the classics. Men who wear it get compliments from girls all the time--I've seen it during the years. I still love it, even after 20 plus years, and can't stop "sniffing" my hubby when he wears it! If you are looking for a manly fragrance, which is not fruity or nauseating, you should try Drakkar. Girls really dig this one.

I have been using Drakkar Noir by Guy Larochefor over fifteen years. It lasts all day and the fragrance is not overpowering like so many others. I have gotten compliment after compliment. I figure if the ladies like it that much, why wear anything else! I have been a perfume.com user for quite a while. They have the best prices, quick shipping and great customer service. I highly recommend Drakkar and Perfume.com!

I love this scent on my husband. Its a tradition to buy Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche for him every birthday and every Christmas which is about every 6 months. My husband has worn this scent for years and it is well worth the price.

Review of Drakkar Noir by None N A

Introduced in 1984. Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche quickly became one of the leaders in men's scents. It's savory and woody with notes of lavender, citrus, coriander, juniper berries, sandalwood, and patchouli. The packaging is bold and masculine in rich ebony with a spatter of red. *Spicy, Warm *Perfect for office, casual, or active wear

Review of Drakkar Noir by Brenda Marie

Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche is, by far, my very favorite cologne. My husband has received this numerous times in different gift sets from me and as a Christmas gift from my parents. The smell is just so darn masculine that it curls my toes. :D I highly recommend this if you're looking for something new. You won't be disappointed.

Review of Drakkar Noir by Charle Reeves

Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche is a memorable scent that smells like a man. My only complaint is it's so ordinary, and it's an obvious scent too, that I feel never reached the top of being a classic. This cologne can be compare to a early 90's version of kenneth cole black, a good scent in its release but slowly has faded out, good cologne for the occasional formal evening.

Review of Drakkar Noir by Smells Good

I have been wearing Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche since middle school and ALWAYS been complimented on how good I smell. I wear it every day and will continue to do so. My wife does not mind it either ;) It smells light and is not over bearing which is good as most other colognes give me headaches.

Review of Drakkar Noir by John Peter

Beautiful yet not overwhelming fragrance.I have been using Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche Natural Spray cologne for about a year and have been very pleased with this product. This is a memorable scent that smells like a man. My only complaint is it's so dated...ok, and it's an obvious scent too, that I feel never reached the height of being a classic.

Review of Drakkar Noir by Denis D. Moskovenko

Got Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche from my friend on 18th birthday. Now I'm 28 and I would like to say it helped me to charm a lot of ladies. I'd like to say it helped me in a good kind of way. I got married and in spite of the fact that I got divorced I'm happy that it reminds me of my real first love.

Review of Drakkar Noir by Kathy M.

Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche is one of my husbands favorite Colognes. Its a little strong for me , which Im glad he only pulls it out for like weddings and such because of that. Its a scent that stays all day long, it doesnt fade. I like it but after awhile of being right next to him smelling it , I get a little woozy lol. Using it this little I have to say he has made ONE bottle last for over 5 years and it has yet to lose any of its scent. Its a great buy and Im sure it would be great on any guy!

It is masculine but not overbearing. It has great smell and superb value and it does its job well. My hubby loves it. It is one amongst his favourite scent..

What can I say about Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche other than Oh My God. This is my absolute favorite cologne for any man. I am not sure what it is about the fragrance that drives me crazy, but it makes me turn my head when I smell someone wearing it. Not too strong and not too sweet smelling, Drakkar has been around for many years and I'm sure it will remain a classic and continue to entice women

Review of Drakkar Noir by Ann Collins

I bought Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche for my son-in-law after my daughter suggested it. I was very impressed. My husband has only used a few kinds of cologne in his life. I've been trying a long time to get him away from Old Spice, so I bought him some of this and he actually liked it. It has a crisp scent. It doesn't go on too strong and the flavor lasts all day. It's not a sweet scent. It's a little sharper than polo.

Review of Drakkar Noir by Rhonda Serafini

Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche has a clean, very masculine smell- and to me, is absolutely irresistible on my man! I love that little hint of citrus in it, which is so refreshing and sexy. I would definitely recommend Drakkar Noir as a wonderful gift idea for the hard to please man. Its’ great blend should fit many different tastes very well.

Review of Drakkar Noir by Yoon Roloson

Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche was one of the most popular colognes when my husband was in college. It is not really strong, but it can overwhelm you. The scent is clean, but has a certain level of depth to it. It is a great for occasion uses.

Review of Drakkar Noir by Melody Collins

If images of first kisses, first dates wedding day (and night) and many, many anniversaries is something you enjoy this masculine, musky scent is a definite for your man. Masculinty and spice and everything sexy is what Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche is made of.
-
Review of Drakkar Noir by Misty Smith

One of my favorite men's colognes, Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche is a spicy, masculine scent with a soft musk undertone that lingers (I can still smell him even when he's left the room!) but isn't overpowering. Smells good on every guy I've ever known, so it's a safe bet for a gift.

Review of Drakkar Noir by Nate Johnson

I doubt there is a person in the United States that has not experienced Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche, whether they know it or not. This was the Acqua di Gio of the 90's since every other guy that walks buy had bathed in this stuff. There is a reason that is was so popular, it's a pretty decent cologne. Not offensive in any way and has the strong scent of "manliness" without coming across too musky. Not one I would reach for on a summer day since it's top notes are very strong then the dry-down pretty much dies away on my skin. Overall I would say you can't go wrong with this stuff if you find it on clearance somewhere, but there are much better and unique colognes out there that can be acquired for Drakkar's retail price.

Review of Drakkar Noir by Stacy Osment

I love Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche. I think this was the second one that I ever liked but second only to Polo. It is a strong cologne but not one that I tire of smelling. When I was younger I even felt like it made men more attractive which I can only say about a few select colognes. It doesn't seem like men where cologne often any more. I miss the smell.

Review of Drakkar Noir by Tabitha Mc Monagle

Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche has been around for a bit, but I never tire of it. It really is the way a man should smell. I'm also sensitive to some fragrances, but this one has never caused me any sensitivites at all. I'm sure that others may have had different experiences, but I love it when I smell Drakkar Noir on a man. It never fails to get my attention.

Review of Drakkar Noir by Alicia Lyon

Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche has a very distinguished scent. Savory and woody with notes of lavender, citrus, coriander, juniper berries, sandalwood, patchouli and cedar. I would reccomend Drakkar Noir recommended for all occasions. It has a great lasting effect; it is strong enough for you to smell it yet it isn't over powering. Definetly worth the money to buy-It's a great investment!!

Review of Drakkar Noir by Beth Morey

Ok this cologne is hot!!! I hate to admit it but Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche reminds me of how every guy smelled back in the early 90's. It brings back some good, innocent memories. I hate to admit that i still like this cologne. But, i haven't bought it because i don't know if guys still wear it. I won't buy it for my husband for that reason, but deep down i really want to. HAHA!!!

Review of Drakkar Noir by Danielle Sabo

Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche is a complete classic when it comes to a truly manly smelling colonge. It is indeed spicy with notes of musk but its a perfect blend of the two. It never dissapoints. It has this depth to it which i cant truly explain but its simply irrisistable on guys. It posesses a very long lasting scent so its very important not to put too much of this fragrance on. A little goes a very long way here. This is an overall sleek, masculine, sexy colonge and perfect for night time wear especially. Highly reccomended.

Review of Drakkar Noir by Amy O'

Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche is both spicy and musky, making it very sexy. I like the classic manliness of this one - none of the flowery, fruity stuff they seem to be putting in men's fragrances recently.

Review of Drakkar Noir by Gianna Zellner

Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche reminds me of all those hot boys I dated in my youth. It's masculine without being overly musky. I love it when my husband wears this scent for me. Drakar is another one of those colognes that stays with him durning the day so when he comes home to you at night he still smells as good as when he left in the morning. It is not to be mistaken for one of those "asexual" scents. It is most definitely male and it will bring the girls running. It's an easy five star scent. But a warning girls: don't buy it for your man if you don't want others coming around to sniff your man!

Review of Drakkar Noir by Karen Bellomy

Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche is one of my favorite brands. The scent is so sexy and masculine that I won't let my husband wear it to church. It can be very hypnotizing. I buy it for all of the men in my life. I give Drakkar five stars.

Review of Drakkar Noir by Laurinda Busa

Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche is my absolute favorite men's cologne! I buy this all the time for my husband and my 2 sons. They all LOVE it! The scent is GREAT and not too strong. I highly recommend this cologne! It makes a great gift for the guys in you life. And you can usually find amazing gift sets available too that have body wash, cologne, aftershave, ect.! I personally haven't found a man's scent that I like better! TRY IT!!!

Review of Drakkar Noir by Ashley Hull

I first discovered Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche when a buddy from college raved about it back in 1993. So I decided to try it and received many compliments from the young ladies back then, including my would-be wife. I am old now (30)... married with children and although I am open to change, my wife continues to maintain my stock of Drakkar. She is still crazy about this particular scent, probably because she has a very keen sense of smell and can develop headaches quite easily simply walking past the cologne section in stores. Apparently Drakkar is subtle enough where it doesn't give her a migraine. I still get compliments from other women too when I sport Drakkar, some saying: "You smell really good... I wish I could get my husband to wear cologne." Men, and ladies buying for their man, can't go wrong with Drakkar Noir Eau de toilette spray, introduced by Guy Laroche in 1982 and recommended for casual use by the retailers. Other fragrances are recommended for daytime or evening use. I guess what they mean is that Drakkar Noir has a richer fragrance as opposed to some of the fresher fragrances out there (i.e. Davidoff Cool Water). I'd like to know of a fragrance that isn't for "casual, daytime or evening" use but simply for blue collar, hard working, hard bodied men... possibly WD-40? Don't ask me what "Eau de toilette" means... for all I know it translates to "from the toilet", Which I guess is somewhat true because I think of France as a toilet with it's ungrateful and antagonistic people, and that's where Drakkar is from. But unlike some other colognes which truly smell like toilet bowl cleaner, Drakkar has a smell that is sure to please, so I'll give the French that much. This popular scent features top notes of bergamot, lemon and rosemary, accented with masculine undertones of basil, amber, patchouli, cedar, leather and sandalwood. The best way I can describe the scent is subtle, warm and masculine. I emphasize masculine because some of the other scents out there for men smell no different than the women's version. If you want to smell like a woman go right ahead... I prefer to smell manly. Any time you see Men's and Women's fragrances of the same name side by side that should be a red flag. As far as I know there is no women's equivalent to Drakkar Noir, so you should be safe. Although matching deodorants are available for Drakkar, I have found that it is easy to similarly match Drakkar's scent with various brands of deodorants/anti-perspirants. Some people will say that Drakkar Noir smells "dated"... typically the people that are on the cutting edge of every trend possible. The same people that have no problem coming right up to you and telling you if your clothing doesn't match. The kind of snooty people whose opinion I could care less about. If your lady likes it... that's all that matters. If other women are complimenting you in addition to your wife or girlfriend... consider it a bonus. I've had Cool Water in the past, and although it smells fresh and "new", I can't recall ever receiving any compliments on it. When purchasing Drakkar, I would say skip the expensive department store and the gifts sets, unless there is something essential offered for free, or you're one of those aforementioned snobs who care more about WHERE you buy stuff vs. WHAT you buy, and instead head over to your friendly Wal-mart, Target, or Kohls. Wal-Mart has the Drakkar Noir 1.7 oz bottle of spray for $29.96, and a 3.4 oz bottle for $41.96. Do the math... for only $12 bucks more you get twice as much! The price has come down some since I first purchased Drakkar, because I remember the 3.4 oz bottle being close to $50. If you want a nice, pleasing, masculine, yet not overwhelming cologne that doesn't smell like toilet bowl cleaner and won't cause migraines, but will garner many compliments... then you can't go wrong with Guy Laroche's Drakker Noir Eau de toilette spray.

Review of Drakkar Noir by Sean H

Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche is sex in a bottle! This scent has been around since 1982 and can still hold it’s own today. This is not a classy scent and it’s not intended to be. This is intended for a night out looking for a few chicks or even just wanting to turn your own lady on. Drakkar Noir is a classic chick magnet scent. Gotta love it!

Review of Drakkar Noir by Kim Souza

Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche is just about the cleanest, freshest scent I've ever experienced. It sometimes gets a bad rep because of its 80's association. But it is a wonderful, crisp masculine aroma that never fails to garner lots of lots compliments. I use this cologne for daytime, casual environments. A must have for any well rounded fragrance wardrobe. Its a classic.
