I can't remember why I ordered L'Instant. i have been wearing Shalimar almost exclusively for 40 years. Everyone at work and even strangers I come in contact with have stopped to tell me how fabulous this perfume is on me. It must be great. And the price was right!

What a wonderful scent. I originally bought this perfume in the airport in the Dominican Republic and fell in love with it. When I went to buy it for a friend, I couldn't find it anywhere but at perfume.com and the price was so much better than what I paid in the DR!! I just bought my friend her second bottle she loves it so much and will soon have to buy myself another. Its a light, very feminine scent, like a fresh shower. You won't go wrong with this one!

I recently purchased the L'instant perfume for Women by Guerlain. It smells incredible, it has an amazing floral scent with overtones of a soft musk. I often get compliments while wearing it such as; what's that wonderful scent you're wearing, or what's the name of that perfume you have on and where can I get? Of course I tell them about your website and the amazing deals you offer customers off of the original retail price. Also, I definitely plan on purchasing the L'Instant body lotion to further accentuate the beautiful floral and musk tones in the perfume. Guerlain has truly created a beautiful, wonderful, lingering, scent of vibrant floral flowers with hints of a subtle soft musk that I will enjoy over and over again!

When my husband bought me L'Instant de Guerlain EDP, the sales clerk assured him that this was the simplest of the Guerlain fragrances, the only one she'd recommend for an older woman (I'm 48!). L'Instant does start subtly, with a soft honeyed note, but it develops on my skin with sandalwood and white flowers emerging, mixed with vanilla. It smells divine for as long as it lasts, about eight hours. Given the reactions I've received, I'd call this an evening fragrance. I think that Guerlain's Champs Elysée might be a suitable morning fragrance that wouldn't clash with an application of L'Instant at night.

EDP REVIEW: The first time I tried L'Instant I didn't like it. The second time around I was pleasantly surprised. On my skin L'Instant's amber and honey come out the most. The magnolia gives it a subtle glow as well. The packaging is really pretty as well. Very long-lasting too. WOW, I am really loving L'Instant more everytime I use it. This has got to be the longest lasting Guerlain on my skin. Everytime I've worn this I've gotten complimented on how good I smell. Upgraded to 5 stars!

One of the best. This smells very much like vanilla with flowery undertones. It's sweet but subtle. I would recommend this for anyone who likes Butterfly by Hanae Mori. It's slightly more tart than that fragrance and a bit less obvious, but still very sensual and sweet.

L'Instant is sweet, VERY sweet. The EDP has a very pronounced honey note that I personally do not care for. I have the EDT and can't detect the honey at all, and it brighter and more wearable for me. It's still very sweet but I can actually pick up some white florals mixed in there too. Fans of Hanae Mori Butterfly would most likely like this one too. Lasting power is about 8 hours and the bottle is beautiful.

This is a beautifully sweet, long lasting scent. Others have said that it is similar to HM Butterfly, and while I can see the similarity in the notes and sweetness, this is not as overpowering and headache-inducing, as I have found Butterfly to be. I get along well with Guerlain scents, and this is no exception. L'Instant has a wonderful warmth and melds well with my own skin, rather than just feeling as though it is "sitting on top" of the skin. This may well become a signature scent for me. I am sure that I will use up my bottle and repurchase!
