I have owned this cologne for so long that the liquid has turned cloudy; mostly because I have never been capable of wearing it regularly. It is the only cologne that will occasionally give me headaches. Regardless of that, Jeff Ensley's review was spot on. The warmth of the cedar combined with the sweetness of vanilla will indomitably cut through the most frigid winter air. The inebriating fragrance certainly evokes Christmas formals and ski lodge gatherings. It's an interesting holiday fragrance to compare with Pino Silvestre let's say. However, you could wear it in less stereotypical settings wherein "warmth" is needed; an urban club filled with shallow hotshots, the inside of a car, etc. The scent, as forceful as it is, has a knack of evoking notions of human intimacy, something like cuddling under a cozy plaid flannel duvet. The design of the bottle initially sold me. There is something so posh about the cap taking up more space than the glass below. It makes the liquid seem all the more precious.

I don't know how i found this cologne, but I'm very happy with it. I am green with envy, its a great floral smell. It mixes well with a more brute for the truly individual scent. As an added bonus, nobody really wears this cologne... individuality is key (well, if you smell good).

This perfume smells really great. My sister just bought it the other day at the mall and it was way more expensive than it is here. It smells kind of citrusy but light, not too overpowering. Very feminine, very sexy. I loved it, and I think I'll be getting one for myself too.

I bought this based on what other reviewers said on epinons. As others have said, this is a really hot, and masculine fragrance. When walking in the mall, I get compliments from women that I don't know and they ask me what I'm wearing. Although we are all 'individuals' I think the frangrance smells great on me, and I wear it when I'm in the mood to be hot. Although you could wear it every day, I really feel it's more like a night time or special occassion frangrance. If you want some everyday stuff but don't want to go the ubiquitous Abercrombie/Hollister route, try out Halston Z-14.

This is probably the best smelling modern Gucci scent for men. It is instantly recognizable, and pretty manly despite an opening note of what smells like blueberries. It is not as woody as Gucci pour homme, and has more spice then Nobile. You pretty much can't go wrong with this.

The appearance of GUCCI ENVY is a pure sophistication bottle, which attracted me a lot. The long, rectangular bottle is classic and unfussy. The perfume is a rich gold colour. Like many other wonderfule perfume, the scent of this perfume can now be accompanied by a body lotion. This is, again, a lovely accompaniment that adds an extra lift to the scent.

Gucci is fresh! This is a favorite of mine I usually like using in the mornings as a refresher. It really wakes me up! It has a little zing to it, which I like. I also like using this cologne throughout the seasons, and it’s versatile enough to use almost every night of the year.

this has a very masculine scent to it. i think this is one of the most expensive perfume brands i have ever bought in my entire life and i say that it is very worth a buy. just a few spray and hola! your day will gonna smell good all day long. highly recommended!

envy by gucci is a somewhat interesting scent. it smells decent. there is definately a mix of sweet and musky smells but the scent isnt as good of a combination as you would expect. i dont know how to describe it really. i would just smell this colognes before you buy it. Its definately a love it or hate it type of thing.

envy by gucci is a pretty good smell but i personally get a little tired of it, pretty easily. It does leave a lavender smell and it does last for a while, but the smell is a little strong at times. Initially when i first bought this cologne, i couldnt get enough of it, nor could my girlfriend. But as time passed, I began to like it less and less. the lavender was a little too strong and it just didnt grow on me as much as most other colognes did.

This fragrance is probably my favorite of all of the fragrances from the Gucci line. Gucci Pour Homme is probably a bit stronger and heavier on the cedar than this fragrance. However, this fragrance is still very earthy, woody, and complex, but with a few sweeter notes that in my opinion, makes it much more wearable. Oh, and please, do not bother with any of the older Gucci scents, including Rush. It is terrible.

For some reason Envy reminds me of the 'Y'-it has almost a poolside smell to it. My boyfriend thought it was too sweet and strong for his liking, but I just thought it smelled like chlorine. We like some of the Gucci scents (men's and women's), but unfortunately there is nothing for other designers to "envy" here.

ENVY is one of the best colognes I have ever worn. I get stopped on the street and at work all the time with people asking me what am I wearing. I practically wear this cologne all the time because I love being stopped with people asking me questions about it. If you are single this is a great smell to land you a great date and maybe something even more.

This is an incredible scent. I used to purchase it in Macys stores in Indiana. they stopped carrying it. I have now gone to the internet. I have recieved more compliments from all women than any other scent I've ever used. I practically bathe myself in it. The more the better it works and women seem drawn to it. Now if I can just drink it... just kidding. Its that good!!! Highly recommend it to others

gucci envy emits an aura of wealth that I would be almost intimidated by if I smelled on someone. Poor people do not wear this. Gucci backs up it's high-class reputation with this luxurious fragrance. I'd never wear this casually. Only if I was very dressed up, and most likely in a business or formal setting. It is very stong, so don't overspray or you and everyone around you will pay the price! I do not yet own this, but after evaluating it again, I may be purchasing it soon!

This is a very reasonably priced cologne that really lasts well - that makes it a very good deal for the money as a bit goes a long way. It has a very strong spicey - almost herbal smell - with some sandalwood or other woody tone to it. Like all Gucci products, it is complex, sophisticated and definite, not a bit feminine or wishy washy. I really enjoy it, but don´t use too much as it will overpower in a small room. A note - some people may find it a bit strong in winter if oversprayed and too much heat on - my wife does not appreciate it under those conditions ... One spray is enough!

Smells nice in small doses, however, if I put on more than a single spray of Envy, it becomes to overbearing and I have to wash it off. Keep it limited to just one spray, however, and it stays under control and smells very masculine. A small bottle goes a long way with me. :)

This cologne is very masculine. Its spicy and woodsy but it also has a slight femanine note to it. It is different from any cologne I have ever used but I like it. THe smell lasts for a long time and a little goes a lon way but I enkoy wearing this cologne and I like how different it is.

Envy is definitely my favorite scent by Gucci. It is however, like Gucci Pour Homme a bit crude. If that is your style this is perfect. When I say crude I do not mean poor quality. It is just quite bold with many strong notes of Amber, Patchouli, Musk, Cedarwood, Ginger, and Nutmeg with no lighter notes to lighten it. It is absolutely perfect for night wear, especially good for clubs and bars as it is strong enough to endure the other smells that will threaten to mask your personal fragrance.

This is one of the best perfumes you can have.. If you are a perfume-buff (like me!!!) and looking to make an addition, this is the perfume for you.. The best thing I like about this perfume is its somewhat gingery scent, which gives me a fresh and lively feel... Also, this perfume is recommended to be used during daytime, and its fragrance stays till long... real long.. This is one of the gems created by Gucci, and I am sure if you buy it, you won't regret spending your bucks on it.. as it is a pure worth for the money.. My girl-friend tells me that everytime I put on this perfume, she loves me more and more.. ;-)

I think I bought this envy online and I love it.It has a great smell on a man who knows his place in life. HA HA I bought this smell at a cheap cost and it is just as good as a high price cologne for a man.I might buy a bigger size next time so it will last a long time.This has a woodsey scent with a touch of sandlewood I think it has many different kinds of scents that all go together and smells good when you put it on your body.My girlfriend absolutely loves this great smell when I wear it plus other women even look around to see who is smelling so good...

This is an OK cologne. It's not great, but has a great evening wear scent. It has a refreshing scent with a spicy, lavendar scent. The smell from the bottle is great, but once its on you it doesnt smell as well. It is a good cologne for evening wear and for winter, i would not suggest this as a sports cologne. Also has a very citrus smell, an OK cologne.

A perfect choice for a perfect man. Yes, I am true. It gives me confidence. I tried different colognes. But, this is my favourite cologne. First time I used it for a job Interview, I am selected for that job. It is a great break for me. From that onwards I use it every day. A fresh feeling all day . It is not so expensive. My wife likes it . But, my kids says it is strong. I gifted Envy to My brother. He loves this cologne too. My friends says it is normal as regular cologne. I know they envy me. yes, they do... :).

Has a heavy smell for those evening events. Not really a cologne that I use everyday, since the scent is a bit strong for me. The price can’t be beat, and for that I have to give this cologne 4 stars. Companies are really raising prices on colognes recently, and it’s nice to see this classic can be had for cheap!

Envy for Men is one of the best evening scents for men, especially in colder weather. There's no better Christmas scent than Envy with its comforting pine needle scent nestled in a smoky incense that is rich and heady. It's all held together with a satisfying vanilla base. It's very strong and long-lasting, so a little goes a long way, which makes it a good value for the money. Easily one of my top five scents ever! Very sexy and formal. Very essential.

Men and women are so differnet, my husband received this cologne as a gift for Christmas, he loves its, in fact he has already used it up and wants more, he thinks the smell is "manly" and loves the power of the colonge smell... I on the other hand really don't care for it that much, if I had my choice I would prefer him not to wear this, as to me it is too strong, too powerful, too "manly", in my opinion it is overstated, while it is not just horrible, it is a colonge that when he walks out of the room, you really cannot tell because the scent stays so strong behind him. Again, men seems to love it, my husband being one of them, so if you are thinking about it for a gift for a man in your life, they would most likely love it, just make sure that it is a man in your life that is not around you too much because the women I know don't really care of it!

Gucci's Envy line of cologne for men smells very sophisticated and manly. I really enjoyed this scent as it does not resemble a fruity or flowery smell but still smells great! I tried putting this on my neck and it was too strong so I recommend you put it on your wrist if you don't want to push people away. This is a nice medium cost fragrance that is good for young adults.

Envy by Gucci is a decent smelling cologne. It's not one of the best colognes I have. This is a cologne, in which I wear once in a while. This is what I call a going out at night type of smell. It has a fancy, strong smell. It's not a sporty everyday smell. Don't spray too much because it will get you or significant other nauseous. Over all it's a good smell.

Ah yes, Gucci Envy!! This is another of my favorite fragrances. This fragrance exudes class and demands the Envy of others. This is a very romantic scent, perfect for winter days, or year round nights. Gucci Envy is a refined and slightly woody, heavy incense filled romantically sexy scent. At first, I thought I would not like this scent because I like to find fragrances with good longevity. However, this fragrance wears very close to the skin and is difficult to detect. After a few wearings, I find that Envy does have pretty good longevity, I was just not able to detect it that well. Since the scent lingers so close to the skin, it is most certainly made for a close encounter with the opposite sex. Although the top notes might seem so loud that one thinks he has oversprayed oneself, the drydown is very good for tight spaces with someone you might want to spend some more time with.

I wanted to like this one. I really did. But when I sprayed it on my skin I got this wierd, almost "fecal" note. I guess this is one of those scents which will only work with certain people's chemistry. This is definitely one to try before you buy.

Envy for Men by Gucci is sensual and sexy in a classy way. This a high quality fragrance classic. It smells exceptionally good and has alot of appeal for use at night or during cool weather. Best suited for romantic and formal use. The scent is not really a cologne for use for work or school since it is very mature, refined and passionate. There are not enough good things that I can say about ENVY by Gucci! On first impression it comes off as a bit lemon and citrus but once it dries down the citrus blends with some spice and insence to create a fragrance experience that is both clean and refresheing while at the same time being warm, cozy and inviting. This is a scent you can wear for just about any occasion as it is incredibly versitile. When you wear this cologne you can be sure to get lots of compliments from both women and men alike. It seems to have just enough sillage to get noticed but not in an "in your face" sort of way. A scent that anyone can wear. You cannot go wrong with this one. It is one of my all time favorites. Two thumbs way, WAY up!!!

Very sweet and kind of spicy, this scent makes its presence known. I have had issues with the scent lasting only a short time on me (although I know others who own this product who don't have this problem, so it could just be me), but while it does last it is a rather intoxicating and inviting smell. Very romantic and perfect for wearing at night on a date or out on the town.

my first tune into the newest fragrances and I am deeply impressed. the longetivy and middle and base notes really sell this one. It is just a fantastic experience. I'll never give this one up. bravo Gucci! I will say that it might be too strong for some people because it sends itself for others to read. Regardless, the bottle I one I want.
