I keep coming back to Pi Cologne for Men by Givenchy as my favorite fragrance (also used in the past Obsession, Burberry Brit, and Burberry London). Many compliments from both genders and it last all day (and not in an overpowering way). It's actually most pleasing to me at the end of the day when the low ends really come through. It really transforms nicely to a warm and sensual/sweet smell by day's end.

Great fragrance, Pi opens with a blast of sweetness and a slight citrus note then dries down to a warm musky sweet vanilla candy like smell. I'd recommend it for colder weather.

I first took a whiff of this on one of those "scenters" that are in magazines. I loved it, but I wondered if it would smell that awesome on my body. Know what? It does. I love it. It is more formal than Obsession by Calvin Klein, which I have been wearing for years. I know that perfume (male or female) is subjective, and you might not like it BUT I do. Try it while you are in a store and you can use a tester and spray for free. It's great!!

I START WITH THIS: "MAYBE" I HAD TO GIVE IT A 4 BUT I AM NOT GOING TO DO THAT B.. IT'S SPECIAL AND ORIGINAL AND UNIQUE. I CHECKED ALL THE REVIEWS AND THEY SAID VANILLA AND THE ARE CORRECT.. DON'T TAKE ME WRONG BUT WITH ALL THE THINGS INSIDE SMELL DIFFERENT THAN THAT... I ONLY WANT TO SAY ONE THING AFTER I PUTTED ON ME I WASHED SEVERAL TIMES OF COURSE DURING THE DAY AND ITS INCREDIBLE : THE COLOGNE STILLS THERE ... WOW! A friend turned me on to this one. I tried it on at a department store and thought oh well just another vanilla fragrance. As the day wore on, I kept catching the crisp clean scent. The patchouli and sandalwood work well with the spices to make a very tantalizing scent. Once I'm out of Rochaman, I'll change to Pi.

I love this cologne! After many years of smelling different colognes on different men, which were usually nice enough, I found that this particular one was the key to melting me! I am not overly impressed with all the citrusy and sharp men's colonges. It seems like every guy is wearing the same one, different bottle with different names, but the same cologne. This one is very sensual and very arousing! It brings out a very primal reaction in me, so my husband only wears it when he has enough energy!!!

I swiped a sample of this cologne a while back and asked my husband to try it. I ended up buying a huge bottle after the sample ran out. I love vanilla and this cologne smells wonderful. I think it is very trendy, so my husband smells sexy and not like my grandfather. I spent about $15 more in the store. I wish I had checked the price here first!

Wow, this one absolutely reeked to me. Vanilla is one of my most favorite notes, but whatever combination of notes is in Pi was disaster with my chemistry. There is a MAC fragrance, MV2 maybe (?), that smelled similarly horrible on me, & that's what Pi reminds of - must be the same mixture of notes.

This is a lovely cologne, heavy on the vanilla. I find it pretty light so I'm suprised some people found it sweet and heavy. I find aquatic men's colognes heavy and obnoxious. This reminds me of Le Male as they share many of the same notes. However, Pi is lighter and much less complex then Le Male. I find this to be comforting, snuggly scent. Probably geared more towards fall and winter wear.

I got a sample of this cologne when I bought something else, and I liked it. It’s a very nice vanilla scent. I haven’t bought a bottle of it, but I think I may in the near future. It’s definitely a pleasant scent that is not overpowering. The smell doesn’t deteriorate and lasts a long time.

PI by Givenchy for Men is one of the sweetest (as in sugary sweet) men's cologne available. Almost has an edible dessert like smell to it. It's warm and smoothing with a potent touch of vanilla and caramel. It lasts a fairly long time and is a good quality long-lasting cologne. Although I like the smell, I think it may be a little too feminine (sweet), so I prefer to use it lightly and only on certain occasions.

As some other reviewers have already mentioned, this is a great choice if you like men's scents with a sweet aspect to them. The vanilla warms & sweetens it up without being too cloying or heavy. I adore sweeter colognes on my husband, and this one and Hanae Mori are two of my favorites. It's probably most suited to the cooler months, but my husband wears scents year-round regardless of their notes! Very delicious and attractive scent that stands out admit the myriad of men's scent with fresh, clean & oceanic personalities.

The famous vanilla bomb, a must try for vanilla lovers! I think it's a fantastic scent that has great staying power, but it can be cloying, so application should be light. The vanilla has a warming effect, making it the perfect winter cologne, but I would think twice before wearing it in the summer. It isn't very complex, as it starts and ends smelling the same, but it is a good smell and girls tend to really enjoy it, so if you like vanilla, give Pi a go.

I was given this by a woman from Japan. She said it was big over there. She also wore it more then I did. I won’t lie to you: it’s sweet. But I love it. For some reason I can’t make out the notes, but I think I detect citrus and… sweet. I suppose I can also smell something a little bitter. But that might be my recollection of the woman from Japan.
