Absolutely my favorite fragrance for men. First bought it as a gift for my husband when we'd just started our romance in 1974. I have detected this rare & irresistible scent on passersby on only a few occasions and have found myself choking back tears from happy memories of long ago. Powerful but never overpowering.... Classic but never ever common....

I first recieve Zizane as a gift some 40+ years ago. My sister told me it was what Ben Franklin wore! I liked it then and love it now. Every place stopped selling it due to all the new designer brands. This is a fragrance that is unique and unforgetable. I hadn't worn it for years, when I did again my wife noticed and commeted that she remembered the scent from many years ago, fond memorys and new excitment. It's not what everyone else uses, so be different and distinctive.

This is one of the 'richest' scents created for me, when colognes were made with oils and lastest for the entire day and into the night. It is pure scent at its best, compared to today's alcohol filled scents that disappear before your out the door. I highly recommend trying Zizanie, you won't be disappointed should you be an aficiannado of men's scents, like myself.

Oy Viey! What a schlameil was I when the Mrs. said to get this drek. And I had to wear it to the Schmulowitz Bar Mitzvah. What a putz....I reaked and the gefilte fish was awful.....so...I filled up on the kanishes and tried to avoid the crowd. This stuff is putrid....feh...feh and PU.

I love this cologne. The discription says that it is reccomended for evening wear and that fits it perfectly. It is a gentlemans cologne that that the ladies adore. I presently own 2 bottles of ZIZANIE by Fragonard - EDC SPRAY 4 oz for Men and just got one for my brother. he adores it.

Originally created by Fragonard in the early 1930s, that distinguished Grasse firm sold the rights to Zizanie many years ago. As has been mentioned, very powdery and sweet, unlike what one would expect from the sandalwood and patchouli base. I find that I only wear this one in the winter, as it is deep and warm, and usually when dressed up, as it feels more formal than most in my wardrobe. If you like scents from this time such as Caron's Pour un Homme, you might want to check this one out.

Zizanie is a unique scent, very powdery and animalic. They don't make them like this anymore. This is a real gentleman's cologne, a scent for a man who wants to project a well-groomed image. It starts sharp, a bit pungent with the smell of civet, punctuated by aromatic green and herbal notes. Sweet powder and discrete florals soon envelop the whole affair, but the scent remains masculine. It's a real throwback, one that compliments the confident, elegant man.

What an intoxicating scent. Powdery on the dry down to something so sweet and warm you'll want to wrap yourself up in a blanket so as to let none of the aroma escape your embrace. Not overpowering, not particularly masculine (though I'm not too sure a woman could pull this off; strike that. there's always a certain type of woman who can pull off wearing just about any man's fragrance.) and it works wonderfully as a base layer if you're into mixing your fragrances (try it with a citrusy scent or other fruity scent that you feel might be lacking something in the bottom end). By itself it sits close to the skin and makes you feel warm. Good for later autumn/winter. Early spring would be fine, as well. Safe for the office.
