I have used Royal Secret for about 20 years now, and it goes well with my chemistry--gentle, muted fragrance. Whenever I wear it, I get many compliments, and the question "What is that fragrance?" Many of the colognes and perfumes on the market today give me headaches, but this one is quite tolerable for me. I wear it daytime and evening--more in the Fall season. The bath oil or gel, help to enhance the cologne---it's like layering it on. Glad to have found Royal Secret products on-line.

I have worn Royal Secret for 30 years and it is the ONLY perfume I wear. I love the rich scent it has. I have two sisters that wear the same perfume and they have worn it for longer than I have. It is wonderful!

This is a fragrance that I used many years ago and enjoyed it very much but had not made a purchase in recent years. The fragrance is the same and I am enjoying it just as much. It is a fragrance for the mature and sophisticated woman who knows where she is going.

I found and fell in love with this fragrance almost thirty years ago in a cosmetique fragrance sampler. I wore it exclusively for years, until I couldn't find it in the department stores anymore. I never found anything I liked as much, and just used patchouli for quite some time. Then, in a mall, with my new husband, we ran into one of those perfume stands in the aisle. He took one whiff and loved it too, and bought me the biggest bottle. Since them I am grateful for places like Perfume.com for keeping alive all the old, hard-to-find fragrances.

WOW! I HAVE BEEN USING ROYAL SECRET II, WHICH IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE FRAGRANCE. I JUST REORDERED 3 BOTTLES OF II AND DECIDED TO TRY A BOTTLE OF THE ORIGINAL ROYAL SECRET ALSO... I AM SO GLAD I DID!! ROYAL SECRET IS SUCH A DEEP, SENSUOUS AROMA, THAT NOW I AM HOOKED ON THE ORIGINAL TOO, AND WILL BE BACK VERY SOON TO ORDER MULTIPLES OF THE ORIGINAL. ROYAL SECRET IS A PROFOUND FRAGRANCE STATEMENT. IT IS CLASSIER, LONGER LASTING AND MORE COMPLEX THAN CHANEL #5. I CANNOT GET ENOUGH OF THIS FRAGRANCE AND YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO EITHER. I CAN SENSE THE SANDALWOOD, THE AMBER, THE DEEP CITRUS, AND A COMBINATION WOODSY/FLORAL NOTE THAT IS OUTSTANDING. IT IS A TRUE CLASSIC, A REAL WOMANLY FRAGRANCE THAT PEOPLE NOTICE AND WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT. I WILL BE WEARING ROYAL SECRET AND ROYAL SECRET II ALWAYS AND WILL NEVER BE WITHOUT THEM. I have worn Royal Secret for over 25 years, almost exclusively. When I worked in one large hospital, the night tech said he could always tell when I was on the early shift when he walked into the darkroom and smelled it. At one time, there was a Royal Secret Summer Splash that was perfect for work. I think I bought 6 bottles of the splash that year. ( wish they would bring that back again) My patients and co workers loved it on me. It is one of those fragrances that works better for some women than others. I have tried Royal Secret II and found it is not even close to the original.

It was about 30 years ago. My son was 8 years old. We were making a special trip to an exclusive department store so that I could buy a favorite perfume. Once in the department, Todd, my son, picked up a tester of Royal Secret. I had never heard of it. Once I smelled it I was "sold". It was the beginning of a love affair! I did not buy the fragrance I had come to the store to purchase. Royal Secret became my "signature" fragrance. Many people have asked me down through the years what the fragrance is that I am wearing and tell me how "good" I smell. A few years before the internet became available I was shocked when I went to purchase a bottle of Royal Secret at the only department store that carried it. They told me it was no longer available outside of France! They showed me a thick notebook of other ladies like me who had left their addresses to be notified if it became available again. I was in Royal Secret withdrawal for a few years until I found it on the internet. I always keep a few bottles in reserve. I am an elementary school teacher and I am sure that some of my students when they become adults will be reminded of me if they happen to pass someone wearing that fragrance.
