*****   Review of White Shoulders by Charles J Mc Ginn 02 Jun 2012

I have been using White Shoulders as my primary perfume for more than 58 years -- started using it when my brother, who did not like most perfumes told me it was the only one he liked. It has a light flowery fragrance and I receive many compliments when I use it.

I starting using White Shoulders products when I was 19 yrs old. I am now 53 and still use these products. I cannot find anything that can compare to the light, fresh scent of White Shoulders, especially the body lotion. It is now and always will be (as long as available) my signature scent.

*****   Review of White Shoulders by Jane Rozell 09 Jan 2011

In my late 20's (I am now 71), after major surgery, I became sensitive to so many scents in lotions, perfumes, etc. The only perfume I could tolerate was "In Love" by Norman Hartnell. It was shipped from Enland and available at only a few stores. When they stopped shipping it to Canada, I began searching for something similar (that I could tolerate) and found White Shoulders. I actually prefer it as it is not quite as sweet and heavy. I tell my daughters that I will likely be wearing this scent when I leave this earth! It makes me think of a spring garden. I have never had anyone complain that they found it too heavy or that it gave them a reaction. Does anyone remember the Evyan ads of the bare shouldered pianist in her evening gown and the conductor of the orchestra who only had eyes for her "white shoulders"?
