A gigantic, almost fluorescent rose, flanked by the intoxicating smell of pittosporum (a close, tiny white blossom with jasmine-like facets which was said to have inspired the founder of the Lauder company while vacationing) and a mossy base worthy of classic 80s chypres. It was indeed composed in that time-frame by legendary perfumer Jean Kerléo, a veteran of perfumery greatness.
Seamless, unmistakeably smelling like proper, mature perfume in its boldness, and therefore great for formal occasions and cooler weather, Knowing is for women who really know their stuff and won't tolerate anyone telling them otherwise. Delightfully flying under the radar in most crowds, so rediscovering it after all those years will probably make you stand out. Don't you just love that!
