My baby wore Dior Hypnotic Poison Perfume for Women by Dior last night, subtly and lightly... though distinctly, and for the first time. And believe me, Linnie is very hot in her own right: all Woman. Yet after coming home from the movies, laying entangled on the sofa, we realized simultaneously, mutually entranced that we sensed no separation between us. That we realized the absence of it. We kissed. Our beings dissolved and dissipated to a place not temporal. Spirits intertwining, our ecstasy became our very nature, and our love burst forth across the expanses of the universe. Take it from a man, Dior Hypnotic Poison is a trip you'll want to take your man on.

I love this product! Hypnotic Poison Perfume for Women by Christian Dior smells great and last all day. I was introduced to this fragrance from my sister in law and she has wore this fragrance for a long time. She even gets better tips at work because of the smell. LOL thats what we figured out anyways. My husband loves the smell. I always get complimented when i wear this fragrance. Hypnotic Poison is great for everyone! Its a got to buy smell!! Yes its pricey but its worth it!!

Hypnotic is definitely the perfect name for fragrance! Very sensual, if you want to make a lasting impression and turn heads, this is the scent to use. Vanilla fragrance that isn't to sweet that it reminds of you of cookies! Alluring and sexy!

This is my favorite fragrance "EVER". I had a friend from Germany come stay with me two years ago; and when she walked in the door all I could smell was her perfume. I went out the next day and purchased two bottles. Everyone that I come in contact with loves the way I smell. I was a big Coco by Chanel person but I can't wear that anymore. Every special holiday my husband buys only Hypnotic Poison. I can't live without it!! BEST PERFUME!!

I have been wearing Hypnotic Poison for several years now. I work with the public in a salon and get compliments daily from both sexes. I will say that this perfume saved my marriage, we were separated for a year and the scent sparked something in him that I hope NEVER goes away.The romantic scent combination is so luring and exotic that Hypnotic is the perfect name for this Poison . I can not find another scent like it. It is defintley sensual, one of a kind I love it because it suits my personality.

My second favorite fragrance after Gucci Rush. I almost didn't try it; I was in a department store and the clerk asked me to smell it. I hate regular Poison, it smells awful like bug spray, so I said no but he insisted and said it was different from the original. I'm so glad I gave in! I've been using it since then, it reminds me of caramel apple in a wholesome but sexy kind of way. All men love it on me, even strangers comment on it!

THIS IS MY SECOND MOST FAVORITE SCENT. I GET THIS EVERY YEAR FOR ANY HOLIDAY. MY FAMILY ALL KNOWS MY FAVORITE SCENT AND THEY GET IT FOR ME. I HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH A TERMINAL ILLNESS AND I SEE MY DOCTOR OFTEN, SHE ALWAYS TELLS ME, AS WELL AS HER NURSES, THAT THEY LOVE THE PERFUME I AM WEARING. I BELIEVE THAT ALTHOUGH I AM DIAGNOSED WITH AN ILLNESS, I SHOULD STILL SMELL MY BEST. I TAKE CARE OF MYSELF AND THIS PERFUME MAKES ME FEEL BETTER ABOUT MYSELF. The first time I tried hypnotic poison I was mesmerized, I instantly fell in love with it and I remember it like it was yesterday, it was the first time I made love to my husband and the perfume I got has a gift with rose petals on the bed, I sprayed the perfume on my pulse areas and my clothes were off in a flash. Jasmine, moss, almond, caraway, sandelwood, oakmoss, vanilla, musk and cedar. Those are the notes as listed on Scentiments. Too bad the cedar and jasmine didn't come into play on my skin. I have mixed feelings about HP. I wore this a lot during the cooler weather a year or so ago & absolutely loved the "root beer float" note that I got from it. I was craving HP one day this spring, & I think it was actually too hot for me to have worn this heavy of a scent, but I ruined it for me. I've put it aside for now & will try again once the thought of how it made me feel subsides. I ruined the beautiful Escada Collection for myself by wearing it during a hot day, too. I'm hoping I will forget how "sick" these made me feel & that I'll be able to wear them again when the weather gets cold.

It gets a few points for being punny - arsenic is poison, and arsenic smells slightly of almonds. Sadly, it's a pretty thin almond floral, lacking much complexity, and certainly lacking in anything I consider sexy or hypnotic. It is, however, pretty non-offensive, and so won't get you any inappropriate or negative attention.

Incredibly sensual ~ a must have Parfum! Sensual, romantic, bold, mysterious, daring, yet flirty - a fantastic parfum to describe you! Since this incredibly sensual Parfum was first introduced, I've worn it for me! One can only feel good about oneself when they are happy within and with Poison one can readily see the mood one is in! While it is suggested for Romantic wear, I find every day is a good day for Poison! I prefer this parfum over the other Poisons Dior has created by far. If you have never tried it, do it for yourself - you are worth it! Daring and mysterious, with much to say, Poison is seductive and perhaps a bit troubling for those who catch your scent as you pass by. Troubling in that it reaches the inner soul deeply.

I received this fragrance as a gift and never wore it because I didn't like the strong vanilla scent. I ran out of my signature and wore this instead. I picked up my 8 year old nephew from school and he wanted to know where the ice cream was. Explained was my perfume not ice cream, he said I smelled good. Guess what the experts say is true, vanilla is really a scent men favor, even 8 yr old boys.

I recently sampled HYPNOTIC POISON Perfume by Christian Dior and I was VERY impressed! I was told it had a flowery aroma (which normally I DO NOT care for)… but this scent was not Overly Floral… it is kind of spicy with a mix of femininity to it. It conjured up a romantic dinner for two by candlelight in my mind.

This scent is perfect for extreme cold weather. Sillage? Check. Lasting power? Check. All right then, the scent itself: I get vanilla, woods and what is often referred to as almond. However, when I think "almond," I think marzipan, and that's definitely not what I am smelling here. It's intoxicating; worth a deep inhale more than a mere sniff. On me, from start to finish, it does not change a great deal except for a continuing "mellowing" of the fragrance, and although not listed as a note, somewhere in the far, far recesses of my nose, I detect a hint of mint. In the words of one of my children, "Play-doh and root beer." Interesting. Who would have thought the two would interact so beautifully together?

It's difficult to write a review for Hypnotic Poison, as it doesn't really inspire much passion in either direction. Yes, it's pretty. Sure, I'd wear it if there was nothing else around. It's quite shy and inoffensive, quite vague and unwilling to commit. It's sort of a vanilla scent, with maybe a bit of almond and possibly some powdered sugar. It doesn't matter, because it's also quite weak with no sillage to speak of. In other words, it's a sweet skin scent, and that's about it. I find Hypnotic Poison to be the equivilant of white cotton briefs. It carries out its function without any frills or thrills.

Hypnotic Poison is what I like to call, "The ultimate vanilla scent." I've tried many many different scents where the top note was vanilla, but no other scent has pulled off such a sexy, mysterious vanilla scent as Hypnotic Poison has. It's so warm, sweet and yummy, like caramel and vanilla ice cream, but it also has a contrasting spicier note and slight musk that balances the fragrance, making it not too sickly sweet, but seductive and womanly. Men seem to swoon over this fragrance. It's strange how this scent works, but every time I wear it, something goes off in the heads and noses of men, and they always comment on how sexy I smell. This is my ex boyfriends favorite scent on me. He would always ask me to wear "the sexy perfume in the red bottle." Hypnotic Poison is definitely in my top 5, all time favorite fragrances. It's a staple in my beauty stash, and I would never be without it. It is a great fragrance for fall/winter and nighttime wear. It's also great for a romantic evening!!

This is a sweet, dark sensual scent. I loved it. When I first recieved this from my former boyfriend I smelled it and thought "Wow, didn't know you felt that way". A friend borrowed a sweater of mine that still carried the scent on it and said she felt sexier by just wearing the scent.

I hated this when I first tried it; too strong and has a Ben-gay quality to it. I waited a few months and tried it again, and sprayed MUCH less, and fell in love. It became a mysterious bitter almond scent that was snuggly as well as seductive. I think this could actually work in a variety of settings, as long as it's sprayed likely for daytime/work. Definitely a thumbs up from me.

This is a beautiful, dark, sweet, sexy fragrance. Some have likened it to play-doh, others to root beer, and others to ice cream, none of which sound particularly sexy, but wheneever I wear this, men slow down to sniff the air around me and ask me what that intoxicating fragrance is. What comes across most clearly on me in this scent is the bitter almond, which adds a bitter, edgy darkness to an otherwise sweet woody vanilla. The aniseed gives it a nice bite, too--maybe that's where people get the root beer association.
