Obviously the "low ratings" were from people buying imitation zero plus. What's with the Christmas tree comparison? This is a n awesome cologne. My favorite and I only get compliments. Not people gasping for air or people chasing me with axes thinking im a tree.

Upon first opening the box I was totally put off by the smell of the bottle itself. Something in the manufacturing process makes the metal coating really stink. The cologne itself is nice. It's very strong when you first spray it, however, once it dries it hasn't a very mild and pleasant smell. The only reason I give it 3 of 5 stars is that it has no lasting power. You put it on before work and within one or two hours it's nearly undetectable, unless you actually smell the piece of skin or clothing that you sprayed it on directly. Still for such a reasonable price, its not a bad one to keep on hand at work or in the car for those times that you forget.

This scent is horrible. It smells like you have been mowing the lawn/cutting trees and not bathing. Too strong and just all in all awful. I wouldn't want my man to wear this and I would not purchase it for him. The bottle is terrible looking and the scent is terrible so this is not a winner.

I had bought this for my friend because I thought it looked sort of manly, but was disappointed. I guess it reminded me of Vin Diesel and I thought it would be better than this. I really should of just tried it out before buying. I do believe my friend ended up disposing of this and I didn't blame him at all for it.

I think the smell is just okey. its not very great but its not very bad. I have a friend who uses this fragrance and he just smells okey for me. I say before you purchase this perfume, maybe you can get a sampe first to see if you like it or not. but for me its just okey. not too bad and not too good. I still recommend it to anybody who wanna give it a try.

ugh, this has got to be the worst-smelling thing ever. This smells like the hospital, and my friend got this as a gift. He never wears it because it is just horrible. I can bet that you will be met with odd stares and looks if you wear this. I do not recommend this to anyone who wants to impress anyone, or to even smell good. good luck finding another

This has got to be the all time worst fragrance I have ever encountered. I think one would be better off buying lysol and passing it off as cologne than to put even the slightest spray of Diesel Zero on their skin. It's not often I find a smell that I simply cannot tolerate. To be avoided at all costs, unless you like assulting your friends with sharp pugnant odors.

Smells stinky... well that does not even begin to acurately describe this one. Take isopropyl alcohol and all of the drippings from your Christmas tree, pulse for three minutes in your food processor and poof, you have this noxious mixutre offered by Diesel. Fortunately, they aptly named the product because Zero Plus is the caliber you will rate when wearing this. Be afraid, be very afraid!!!

Powerful. As others have mentioned, this is one powerful fragrence. I was a little dissapointed with the scent as it is a sharp sour smell. Those who might enjoy such a scent will probably like it, but I wasn't quite fond of it. Also, this is a very POWERFUL fragrence and to put it simply, "a little goes a long way." Too much of this stuff and it's unbearable no matter what you think of the peppermint-like smell. So, use in fair amounts, and don't wear it for professional/romantic settings. A more laid-back approach for casual use would be more appropriete. Test this one out before purchasing.

I'm a woman and I love Diesel Zero Plus Masculine - it's much better than Diesel Zero Plus feminine. To my nose, this is a spicy vanilla - sort of a rootbeer scent in the vein of Hynotic Poison but much more subtle. It reminds me a lot of the sadly discontined Givenchy Organza Indecence.

The first thing you notice is the wonderful packaging of this one. Once you open the space-capsule plastic holder, you hold the beautiful red anodised aluminum bottle in your hand. When it's first applied, the cinnamon notes are very strong and almost overwhelming. Within a few minutes, they fade away and reveal a wonderful spice accord over an deep, ambery musk base that has very good lasting power. This is a great scent for bitterly cold days, and works well on the warmer days.It's a very unique scent.
