Review of Demeter by Lisa Link Phillips
Thunderstorm by Demeter really does manage to capture the scent of wet earth & rain! I can best describe it as strong and herbal on the top note (it smells a lot like demeter's fragrance "dirt" in the beginning, but a little richer) but after about 5 minutes it mellows to this fresh, wet, clean & earthy scent that smells remarkably like its namesake. When you first spray it, it smells a little strong, but after mellowing, it is perfect! I would also say that this is a great unisex scent - my husband snags it on a regular basis! If you like the combination of fresh, earthy, and herbal, this is a great choice! Unusual and sexy - this isn't a fragrance you will smell on everyone else!

Review of Demeter by Bonnie Fisher
Tea in the morning is my favorite thing. I find many men like this fragrance. The Bergamot is very light and this is a wonderful perfume for daywear. It has just the right amount of mystery to be intriguing without being to heavy and cloying. You won't kill people with it if you get stuck in an elevator.

Review of Demeter by Jen Pando
Cosmopolitan Cocktail by Demeter does not really live up to its name. I had expected a somewhat fruity mix with a biting hint of vodka tonic, but this failed to deliver. It does have an alcoholic flavor, but without any redeeming qualities. I would rather skip this one and try one of the other scents like Martini.

Review of Demeter by Erin Hortert
Nice smell, but very light and does not seem to last very long, need to keep reapplying to maintain the nice soft smell. Great reminder of the wonderful tea that can calm you but this never calmed me with the required re-application.

Review of Demeter by Angels Blue
Could it be that Demeter actually put gin in this? Or dry vermouth? This fragrance reminds me of when your friend gets drunk and talks 2 inches away from your face. BLEH! It smells horrible! Maybe I'd appreciate this if I were abstaining from alcohol and needed some kind of gratification because this really does smell like the drink.

Review of Demeter by Angels Blue
At first I smelled alcohol, like you often do with this line, and then I thought, "hmmm". It took all day, but this scent has grown on me and I admit, I've fallen for it. Snow is like moist earth, slushy streets, and a hint of sugar maybe. The staying power was all right, and I do apply it a few times throughout my days. Makes me long for that time of year when the scarves come out to play. Overall, unique and fun!

Review of Demeter by A. G.
I like Snow quite a lot. It's got the three (seemingly inconsistent) qualities I look for, united, in a fragrance--uniqueness (i.e., one-of-a-kindness [why do fabulously unique scents always have terrible staying power?]), lightness (floral, citrus, or something unidentifiable but sweetly [as in innocently, not saccharinely] wonderful), and depth (yum... mysterious in a unique [see above] sort of way, not "cheap" or obvious or overpowering). As other reviewers have noted, "Snow" smells a bit like dirty snow. Yes, indeed, and I like it. :) Keep in mind that this is fresh, earthy dirt we're talking about, not city dirt. Took off a lippy for Demeter's PMUs' horrible-quality atomizers and staying power

Review of Demeter by Bea Keen
Just to start off with, I love earl grey tea. I love the smell of it and the taste of it, but I really didn't like Demeter's earl grey tea PMU. I could barely smell the tea in it, for one thing. The tea scent was overpowered by a weird sort of Lysol lemon scent that gave me a headache and made me somewhat nauseous. I tend to be somewhat sensitive to perfume, though, so that may have something to do with it. This scent was one of the bigger let-downs in the Demeter line, in my opinion. There wasn't nearly enough tea in it and WAY too much lemon (and cleaning-product smelling lemon no less). Definitely wouldn't buy this one again, even if it were on sale.

Review of Demeter by Kim Wood
The best thing about Demeters is how true to life they are, they really capture the essence of Earl Grey Tea, right down to the citrusy bergamot. It's clean, refreshing, and smells a little like lemon at first and then herbal as it wears on. The worst thing about Demeters is that they fade so quickly, and Earl Grey Tea is no exception. I'd still purchase it though, as it's a very nice true scent.

Review of Demeter by Janet Sadler
The smell of demeter's Earl Grey Tea is great it smells just like the tea itself and it has a calming effect to it and it smells great!

Review of Demeter by Angela Dearinger
I had heard that this was one of Demeters best sellers and so I was anxious to try it. It was awful. I pictured it as smelling cool, clean and fresh like fresh snow would be. I thought it smelled like old rain water or a stinky wet towel. It actually smelled dirty and like mildew to me. I would never ever wear this. The good thing was that once you spray it the fragrance wears off pretty quickly. I was very disapointed with this.

Review of Demeter by Marie Sherman
I can rarely find this scent. Earl Grey is one of the best teas out there, partially because of the soothing, earthy scent. It relaxes me, and helps me feel more down-to-earth. Good for the scent-therapy lovers.

Review of Demeter by Tiffany Cutright
Demeter's Snow is a very fresh, crisp, clean scent. It smells like cold, Winter air, just like the morning after a fresh snowfall. It's great for the Winter season! It's definitely not a long-lasting fragrance. I suggest carrying the bottle in your handbag so you can refreshen throughout the day.

Review of Demeter by Fragrance Fan
Generally I'm not a fan of Demeters - I find them pretty flat and short lived. This is far and away the best Demeter I've ever tried. It's fruity with a little bit of an alcohol undertone. It smells really refreshing and nice and, best of all, it lasts a good four or five hours on me - unheard of for a Demeter!

Review of Demeter by Lisa Forsythe
I love Demeter's great selection of scents, and this is my all-time favorite of any perfume, ever! Thunderstorm has a wonderful, deep, rich earthy soil scent mixed with a perfect blend of clean, crisp, rain water. You can also smell hints of wet, green foliage. The fragrance is refreshing and comforting at the same time and evokes wonderful feelings of stormy spring days. My only complaint is that this isn't available in an EDP; its only made as a cologne. Buy the 4 oz. bottle!

Review of Demeter by Lisa Forsythe
I am a huge Demeter fan, and this is one of their highest rated fragrances, but its not my favorite. I prefer Thunderstorm. This is still a great cologne, though. It smells incredibly crisp and clean, almost like Demeter's Laundromat. I would describe the smell as very, very clean rain water. It smells partially natural and partially synthetic. This is a very, very subtle fragrance, so you really have to use a lot to notice it.

Review of Demeter by An Seip
I was first given martini by demeter as a present. It has become of of my favorite of the demeter scents. It has a nice level of scent not to strong but lasting. I like it from the first minute and enjoy the scent as it lasts for the afternoon. Sometimes I smell a little clove in it which is a nice spicy touch.
