Banana Flambee, a relative newcomer to the Demeter cologne line, is everything you would imagine it to be. It smells like an extremely sweet, overly ripe banana—but more in a synthetic, contrived way than the real thing. It also has a hint of the Crème Brulee scent, which is sort of like a burnt caramel. Not too great.

Demeter is known for producing single note, not very long lasting and sometimes "weird" scents. Banana Flambee is different from the usual Demeter, it's quite a complex, sweet scent that actually lasts most of the day. This is a fragrance for "foody" scent lovers, if you like florals or clean scents you may pass on this. However, I don't really smell too much banana in here, it's more of a caramelized sugar scent, but I think it is very nice and will purchase another bottle.

Bananas foster in a bottle. It smells great in the bottle, but the bananas turn plasticky on me. The cinnamon also overpowered the banana and rum notes. It's a scent that's nice for a candle or room spray, but not a perfume.

Wow.. I love this scent! It actually smells like real bananas and not any of that flavored stuff. It makes me hungry just thinking about it. It's perfect and reminds you exactly of a banana flambee - caramelized and ooey gooey! The perfume is perfect to spray on quickly and you smell like a great dessert and as if you've been cooking all day.

This is a sticky, sweet, smoky, buttery, spicy, shamelessly gourmand scent, and I love it. I smell cinnamon, caramel, and bananas. Real, carmelized bananas, not the plastic, synthetic smell of banana-flavored candy, but the actual fruit. Yum. Makes me hungry. It's warm, sweet and profoundly comforting. The lasting power is not bad for a Demeter, either.
