it smells quite good but the smell doesn't last at all
This is a good smelling cologne, but I don't think it compares to the original Cool Water. This to me is heavier and more musky than the other cologne, and I tend to go towards the lighter colognes that are not so stuffy and overwhelming. This would be good for a guy in his late 30's on a nice date, but other than that, stick with the original.
I started using Vetiver Carven Cologne for Men by Carven in 1957. I was introduced to it by a friend and bought it at Filene's in Boston. I live in Minnesota and have found it hard to get. The last time was at the Mall of America. I even had a friend pick up some in France when they were traveling. It is the best cologne that I have ever used and friends ask me what is that cologne you have on and where can we get it. Keep on importing it. Thank YOU!
