Review of English Leather by John Grove

I agree with all the reviewers, my father wore this as well. It does indeed have initial hints of citrus then blooms into a rustic, wood scent. Very masculine. The after shave is much better then the cologne. The scent that most recall and remember is the after shave not the cologne, so keep that in mind.

I have used English Leather for many, many years. I think it is great. Being able to get it from your website is terrific.

Great value for the cost and it was shipped quickly. It is a smell for a man. Once again Perfume.com demonstrates that it is the place to buy.

I just love the smell of English Leather Aftershave and I have been using it for the last 6 Years. However, no one here in Hawaii stocks this aftershave anymore. While on a business trip to Chicago I found an 8 oz size Engish Leather Aftershave, and hand carried back home. I get a lot of complements of the smell and I love it. I do a lot of surfing on the Internet and discovered Perfume.com and have purchased 3 bottles at a time. Your Lemon Lime aftershave was my favorite, however I was very disappointed with the smell it was not even close to what I have purchase in the past here in Honolulu, Hawaii. Please do a little more research to duplicate the original smell.

Personally, I think this stuff smells like disinfectant, but my husband loves it and feels sexy in it, so duh, this is my all-time favorite mens cologne. But I will give it this: it does not smell anything like Axe or any other wussy man-perfume marketed to 20-year-old overly sensitive boys.

Wonderful find. I have missed English Leather for decades. Didn't know it was still available. In the South, English Leather was the choice of refined and cultured gentlemen. The "Elegant Ones", in short. I shall buy and be delighted again with its carefully balanced aroma that actually changes as the day gones on. ---Fact!!

My husband likes this after shave and cologne and it smells okay on him but I would prefer something else. He insists on this one and this is the one I get for him. I don't dislike it. It is not overly strong. It just seems like something else would be better.

The most widely recognized bunk scent. I always thought this smelled like a really old person's cologne. The only use English Leather has is a cheap substitute for mace.
