Chantilly is clearly a beautiful survivor, its story spanning more than half a century and at least two brands owning its complex formula. Originally issued by the historic house of Houbigant, Chantilly was a warm and radiant ambery oriental with an incredible spicy base of carnation and rose which beckoned you closer. Years later, the formula was bought by Dana and although it has been tamed a little bit, it still retains that aura of bygone splendor and no sharp edges goodness. A true evening classic worthy of revisiting by modern women tired of the sameness of contemporary releases.

Although I give it a five star...I am extremely disappointed to find it is no longer available without the spray pump. The spray delivers too much and triggers my asthma. It is also to strong if I spray it. I like just a dab behind my ear lobes and love to wear it all day long. I am just finishing up my last 8oz. bottle and when I called the mfg. they said they do not make the perfume except as spray any longer. I have been using it, and no other, for the past 50 years. I'm at a loss for words..any suggestions?

I found Chantilly just a year ago and I love it! It is light and I can wear it any time of the day. My husband is very sensitive to most perfumes and cannot tolerate me wearing them, but he doesn't mind Chantilly. This is a first for him! I have found Chantilly Eau de cologne splash to be such a light and warm scent. It just seems to draw people around you. When every I wear it I am always asked "what is that scent you are wearing". But now I have not been able to find it any where. When ever I do find if I buy all they have. I can not even find it available on the websites. If you know how I can find it please let me know via e-mail. I have been wearing this fragrance for so many years I have lost count. I have tried others but i always come back to Chantilly Eau de Cologne splash.
