This is a great scent for the summer. I love sweet fragrances and I particularly love Vanilla & Coconut combined. Sometimes I even wear this fragrance during the winter if I'm a bit nostalgic for the warmer months. I really like this fragrance over La Vanila's Vanilla Coconut body butter. La Vanila offers a Vanilla Coconut fragrance, but it's nowhere near as good as Comptoir sud Pacifique's.

I'm obviously in the minority here, but I HATED this fragrance. I had to wash it off my wrists after receiving a sample tester. It smells like horrible burnt plastic to me, very harsh, with an incredibly bitter note that just didn't ever dry down completely. I was disappointed because I adore CSP's Vanille Apricot and Amour de Cacao, both of which are sweet but not quite foody. I don't know what happened with Coco. I cannot get past that initial blast of awful plasticy bleh.

Vanille Coco is okay, just a plain and simple vanilla and coconut scent. It's very sweet and way too foody for my tastes. I'm sure there are other similar scents that last longer than this one. It is a pleasant smell and I certainly don't mind it on other people, but it's something I just can't bring myself to wear in public.
