Introduced in 2004, Simply by Clinique perfume is an oriental fragrance that does not fit in into the traditional three-phase structure of a fragrance of top, heart and base. Its designer Raymond Matts developed a composition on three equally represented lines: clarity, comfort, and intimacy. The clarity is reached with white flowers, the pleasant feeling of comfort by soya milk, while soya grains and smoky wood provide an intimate aura.

Be careful with the amount that you use, as it's pretty potent. The good smell, however, lasts all day and most of the evening, so it's definately woth the money!

I bought Simply by Clinique for my wife for the second time because Simply by Clinique stands out for its enticing yet hard to place fragrance. It's slightly sweet, but not overbearing. While she has many other fragrances, I favor this one over the others. To my surprise when I went to buy it, and I went to the Clinique counter at the mall I discovered that it has been discontinued. Imagine my surprise and disappointment that Clinique would discontinue this unique fragrance. I decided to do an internet search and I am glad I came across Perfume.com.

I wonder what is in this fragrance: to me it smells like hyacinth with a slight milky undercurrent. Really was not keen when I first tried it but have come back to it and it seems to be a grower. This is a scent I now wear all the time, and I just love it!
