Apparently Whit didn't listen to her mother's warnings about bad boys! Houston's longtime relationship to musician Bobby Brown did not result in the creation of beautiful music; rather, she almost lost her ability to make it at all. Following their divorce, the newly sober and non-smoking Houston tried to put out a comeback album, but her formerly strong voice was reportedly unrecognizable, it had become so weak. Whitney's now taking voice lessons and trying to get back on track, while Bobby's onto his fifth child, with new girlfriend Alicia Etheridge.
