Uma's ability to be soft and feminine and totally bad ass all at once make her one of the most intriguing stars of today. She even made yellow leather look good in the Kill Bill series, a role written specifically for her by Tarantino-- who called her his muse for the film. To this day, Thurman says she can't watch the Lord of the Rings films because she is still disappointed she couldn't take part in the film; Uma had just given birth to daughter Maya-Ray when she was offered a role in the trilogy.
