Marlene Dietrich
Marlene Dietrich Perfume and Cologne
Marlene pulled the original Madonna move of constant reinvention throughout her career from 1919-84. Her name Marlene, at the time very unusual, comes from her own idea to combine her two names: Marie and Magdalene, at a mere 11 years old. Glamourous and exotic, she was one of the highest paid actresses of her era, and eventually took her act to Vegas in a racy one woman cabaret show. The German born actress and singer became a U.S. citizen in 1939 and was awarded a Presidential Medal of Freedom by the States for her war work.
