Although she appears on episodes of CSI: NY, with Brad Pitt in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and with Benicio del Toro in Che (on top of producing films through her own Indican Productions company), Julia's been quoted as saying "My sense is that Hollywood is something in the past. I've escaped it". Perhaps because her interests have expanded since her 1999 marriage to political activist Jon Rubin; she's since been a high profile advocate against issues like human trafficking, AIDS and drugs and crime, and was appointed as a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador in 2005.
