Grunge queen and anti-drug warning poster child Courtney Love has been steady in the headlines since the tragic suicide of her iconic husband Kurt Cobain, frontman for Nirvana. A frontlady herself, often without exuding much "lady" at all, Courtney Love's former band Hole had its own successes to boast; the group rose to multi-platinum status with the release of 1993's Live Through This and saw reasonable success from follow up album Celebrity Skin. The band broke up shortly after its release. Courtney's sobriety remains questionable.
