David Hasselhoff is credited with "discovering" Angie Harmon on an airline flight and launching her acting career with a role on Baywatch. However, the star of Law and Order was already enjoying a successful modeling career, much to the joy and credit of her parents (also models) who pushed her into the industry as a child. We're not sure what being "discovered" by Hasselhoff on a plane actually entails anyway, but lucky for us she was!
