  The original I remember from the 70's was a light scent with distinct grassy and citrus notes. The scent I received must be a reformulation; it really smelled nothing at all like the original I once loved. A disappointment.

  This is a scent I have loved for many years. I try new scents but usally end giving them away.. My husband is sensitive to scents and he dislikes most of them. He really likes this one. It is light but it stays with you and I have received many compliments through the years. I hope Carven never stops making it. It is so feminine. I wear it anytime, even before I go to bed.

  Ma Griffe is a wonderful scent. If you like floral than this is the perfume you want to buy. It's very light with a hint of gardenia and jasmine. I wear it day OR night!

• Review of Ma Griffe by Susan

  When I was a little girl, I remember how wonderful my mother's perfume smelled and how beautifully she dressed when she wore it. It is such a light, subtle scent and distinctively different than recent fragrances. It brings back lovely memories, so when I found it on Perfume.com, I knew that I had to have it and to send it to my mother too. She lives in a different part of the country and wearing this perfume makes me feel closer to her and let her know that I am thinking of her.

  I was given a bottle of Ma Griffe as a parting gift when I left Paris France to return to the U.S. I was Seventeen ,I am now Seventy , I still love it and It brings back Youthful memories everytime I wear it. and That is very often . It almost makes me feel Seventeen again.
