Declaration Essence by Cartier is a pleasant, somewhat refreshing fragrance. It is one of those fragrances that to my nose, seems to be trying to be everything to everyone. Some may like this - if you are the kind of person who wears one fragrance for all occasions, in all weather conditions, and in every mood you have - then this just might be the fragrance for you. It is somewhat romantic, somewhat woodsy, somewhat green, and somewhat fresh without committing to being too much of any one of these types of fragrances. I like it, but it's lack of purpose and uniqueness makes it something that I am not sure I would buy. That said, it is of high quality and well-blended and will please many folks.
