  It's a one of a kind fragrance is so sweet and clean smelling,I have been buying it since 1974 and can't get enough, the complament's I recieve are alway's mmm what is the cologne you have on of course I say it's Royal Bain de Champange and they say can i get some from you!!!!!.

• Review of Royal Bain de Caron Champagne by Scent Hound

  Originally called Royal Bain de Champagne, but later changed after protests from the bubbly industry. It DOES have an effervescent opening smell like champagne, and dries down to a warm vanilla over fruit (grape?) brilliance. I find this to be a happy fragrance, as well suited to an outdoor summer gathering as to a formal event. There is also something very "old school", though not dated, to this scent, something reminiscent of days gone by. But most definitley not a period piece.

• Review of Royal Bain de Caron Champagne by Rara Ornan

  There is a metallic smell to this immediately upon applying, makes me grit my teeth or imagine the scene in the Bond movie where Jaws bites through that lock by the Pyramids of Giza. You know what i mean? Makes me cringe like i'm getting a shot of novocaine in my gums. Once that wears off, this is quite pleasing, but in a very odd way. Violets? Rock climbing chalk? Talc? Who knows. It's worth a sample, or a bottle since it's so dang cheap. But it's not enough of a longing for me to purchase. The initial metallic sensations gives me the willies.
