When I first met my soon-to-be Hubby I noticed 3 things: 1) His blue eyes, 2)His cleft chin & 3) His "signature scent"... When I asked him what it was he told me 'Obsession' and that scent quickly became my favorite. He has tried others in Calvin Kleins' line of scents ( and Truth is pretty dang good too!!!) but this one is by far the best. I jokingly told him when he tried the others that it "Didn't smell like HIM". I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a sensual, classy scent.

The man who would become my husband wore Obsession Cologne for Men by Calvin Klein. I'd smelled it on other men, & as with any fragrance, it smells different on each person. It smelled fantastic on him! After I commented on it, he started keeping a bottle in his car to put on just before picking me up. Of course it was on his fingers, & then would transfer to the leather steering wheel. I loved driving his car, because the heat would warm up that black steering wheel & the fragrance would waft over me. I made a lot of excuses to drive that Mustang! We've been together for almost 13 years, & the longest we've been apart was 3 days. He'd put a little on my pillow so I'd feel his presence at night. He's going away for 26 days to train with a Guide Dog; I don't know what I'm going to do without him!

The first time I smelled this I was sitting in a coffee shop and kept getting a whiff of this teriffic smell coming from a gentleman sitting behind me. I finally turned and asked hime what he was wearing. He told me and I came right away to this site to purchase some for my boyfriend. It is the most wonderful cologne I have ever smelled. I love it!

My very first exposure to Obsession Cologne for Men by Calvin Klein was at least a decade ago when I was 13 or 14 years old. My Dad had been using the cologne for quite a while and I remember him telling me that some of his last patients of the day would still notice the scent and comment on how nice his cologne smelled (this being after 8 hours at work!). I decided to ask for it for Christmas that year, and ever since that year I've always had a bottle in use and an extra under the sink for when it runs out. I tried other colognes (Hugo Boss was also a good cologne and Curve was interesting for a short while), but in the end I always came running back to Obsession.

It doubles up good as a bottle of mace if some street tuff trys to attack you after stealing their girlfriend, don't spray too much directly in the eyes. i do not like it that much but still some people do. it depends on their taste. its bottle is impressive that i can admit.

Now this is a Calvin Klien product. It lives upto its name. The scent is very good, very attractive, very mild and lasts all day. This is defenitely a perfume that can worn to formal parties and all formal occassions. It is not too musky and so it doesnt attract women who generally prefer musky scents. Other than this I really enjoyed this perfume. It is worth the money.

My father wears this cologne and he always gets so many compliments on it. All the girls at his work mention something to him when he forgets to spray his Obsession on for one day because he does not smell as fabulous. It is a musky fresh smell that is strong at first, but then wears into a very subtle fragrance throughout the day and is long lasting.

About fifteen years ago, I was dating my first boyfriend and he smelled absolutely amazing. I asked him what he cologne he used and of course, it was Obsession Cologne for Men by Calvin Klein. Well, he turned out to be a jerk, but that smell aways drives me wild. I love the smell of obsession. It's got a woodsy, musky smell that drives the senses wild. It has got a manly smell that tickles the nose and warms the heart. Anytime I'm out and about and smell it, my mind lingers over that smell. It is absolutely intoxicating, which is probably why it is call obsession and why it has sustained the same fragrance for so many years. Calvin Klein popped out a winner with this fragrance, and while the women's version, to me, does not smell as good as the men's, it is still very complimentary when worn together. Some men's women's combos do not smell nice together, but these do. I recommend buying some for him and for her.

Obsession Cologne for Men by Calvin Klein is a good-smelling, if perhaps too popular scent. It is masculine and strong, staying with you the whole day. Women do tend to enjoy the scent, but it has been around for quite some time and most men who are into scents have tried this one at one point or another. So the scent is not all that unique. Of course every scent will smell slightly different depending on who is wearing it. But still, at its basic level...Most men have used this at some point or another. The Obsession commercials and advertising come off a bit unmaculine for me. So if someone asks what I am wearing I would prefer to tell them something else, as this product (not the smell!) seems a bit feminine to me. A good scent, just too overexposed for my taste.

Obsession is the basic masculine scent. Is a very nice, romantic scent for a couple. Contains rare woodsy smells and has a sweet spice that attracts women to you. The scent also has a little bit of an oriental touch and smells fairly nice. I would not recommend this for day use or if you will be sweating, it does not work well with it.

It isn't the worst cologne out there but there are too many more up-to-date options out there for men to choose this one. It is a bit strong though not really unpleasant. The scent stays over time, but I would much rather prefer a more modern scent. It is slightly sweet and musky.

I myself am a huge fan of Calvin Klein and I love all of their other products. However, I will be honest, this product takes a little bit of getting used to. The scent starts extremely potent, to me this is not one of those scents that you spray on and then forget you are wearing after a while. Also, as a college student I feel that this scent is not as “modern” as I would like it to be, I would feel more comfortable wearing this at a business setting rather than going out for the night. The good thing about Obsession though is that the scent does get a little better after you have been wearing it for about a half hour. I feel that of all of the colognes that I have, this is the one that has garnered the least amount of interest and the least amount of compliments. It could just be that my skin is not complimentary to this scent but that is too complicated for me to worry about. Overall, I would recommend this sort of scent for professionals, wear it to a business meeting to smell good, or I would recommend wearing it if you are not going anywhere to get noticed. If you are going somewhere where you want the opposite (or same) sex to notice you then I would recommend a different product from the Calvin Klein lineup. I have heard from many people that this scent is considered to be a classic, perhaps a little classic in my opinion.

This scent is a classic from the 80s. It is a very, very heavy oriental scent. I cannot stress this enough. I always use one, or two, sprays at the most with this. That being said, it has a strong musky and vanilla drydown. It is a good balance of sweet with a masculine musk. I would recommend this scent for cooler weather such as late fall or winter. Although I have used this fragrance in the summer before, it can become too "loud," especially within confined spaces. Although this scent is old, it is by no means outdated. I recommend everyone try this scent, it is the definition of an oriental fragrance to my nose!

Ah, a classic oriental. Obsession is a scent that will, in my opinion, never go out of style, and is as much in place in a young man's wardrobe today as it was 20 years ago. The scent is reminiscent of walking through a field on a warm summer night, with the smell of vanilla drifting through the air. As with most orientals, it projects and lasts well, and girls seem to think it's a wonderful smell, particularly because of the vanilla.

Obsession Cologne for Men by Calvin Klein was the first fragrance I ever owned. This was given to me by a well-meaning uncle when I was about 12 years old. Problem was, he gave me aftershave instead of cologne, and obviously at 12, I was not shaving. That said, this scent is a classic, and many consider it to be the best of the CK line. It takes me right back to ripped-knee acid washed jeans and the late 80s. It's technically an oriental scent, but to me it seems pretty dry, woodsy, and spicy. It seems like a good all-around scent - work, dinner, movie, clubbing, whatever - I think Obsession will work. The only trouble is that you've probably smelled it 1000 times since it is so popular, and a "classic." Still, it holds its own and is pretty good stuff.

Obsession Cologne for Men by Calvin Klein is a great scent for work or play. It lingers on the body effortlessly. Spice based it lasts with you through the day. The scent never fades and is consistant from person to person. Being a heavier based cologne it may be used sparingly when applied. The initial application gives a bit to the scent although it lessens in it intensity the scent stays true. I would say this is best for the fall/winter seasons due to the woodys base. If you like this you may want to try Santos de Cartier or Dreamer by Versace for the spring/ summer seasons
