Much like the other reviewer, I was introduced to cacharel pour homme in the late 80s in college. I picked up a bottle on spring break in the Bahamas. I have worn countless colognes, lived in many cities, and been fortunate to have experienced a full life. I have not worn Cacharel for at least 15 years, but, it has always been on my mind as one of, if not the most balanced and sophisticated scents ever blended. I finally pulled the trigger and bought a bottle this week. Cannot wait to catch the scent early eve, at a lounge, with cocktail in hand.

I started using this superb perfume in the late 80ies. I must say even back then when I was much younger with much less attention to details the smell of carnations was invigorating! To this day Cacharel pour Homme reminds me of the carnations my late grandmother used to grow. The tantalising floral aroma that tackles the smell buds when you first spray it is just heavenly. Very soon, the middle notes kicks in with the predominant carnation fragrance giving a true feel of vitality and elegance woven in one. Then comes in the base notes to acentuate the blend and give it a pleaseant earthy-woody dimension as well as its unique lasting quality. By far one of the best men's perfumes I've ever used (and I used a lot) to this day I always have a bottle in my ward robe.

Cacharel Pour Homme Cologne for Men by Cacharel is my all-time favourite! Starts off nice and spicy with hints of clove and citrus and lingers with an amazing woody finish.
