I prefer this men's version of Weekend over the women's. While it is also citrusy like the women's version, it is less acidic. I can definitely smell some grapefruit, ivy leaves, oakmoss, sandalwood and light musk in this. The lemon, tangerine scent evaporates very quickly. (For me, that's a good thing!) Just wished it would last a bit longer than 4 hours. Since it's rather inexpensive for a quality scent, I don't mind tossing the bottle in my purse and refreshing once or twice, during the day.

This French-made fragrance has a much more distinct smell than most other fragrances I have used. It is not at all sour, and at the same time is not sweet. It sort of finds its way at a mid-point with a pleasant, somewhat strong aroma. This cologne is definitely one for the work environment or professionals. It has a smell that can be distinct in the workplace, but in a good way. It leaves a trail of good aroma without being too sporty and at the same time without being cheesy, or even worse, tacky. In other words, while it is a distinct smell, it isn’t overly strong and is overall agreeable.

I was walking to my favorite eatery and passed a man with this scent. I tracked him down to ask what he was wearing. BURBERRY. Of course. This makes a man smell young, powerful, sexy, and humble. Well defined and not over the top. LOVE IT. Ladies buy your man this for daytime wear. Yummy.

I really like this one, dispite the fact that everybody wore it at my college back in the 90s, and it kinda smells like scented toilet paper. It has a lemony opening that settles into a subtle powdery drydown. Very non-offensive. Good for warmer weather in my opinion.

Weekend is a nice change of pace in the fresh and clean market. The smell is very pleasant, and after a while people started telling me I smelled like fresh air, which was a nice twist. Although this won't be a huge success like Acqua Di Gio, I still enjoy it, and may even enjoy it more knowing I won't smell it on every person I meet.

weekend by burberry is a great smelling cologne i must admit. it has a somewaht sweet smell that isnt overpowering nor is it weak, but it is just the right amount of sweet. this bottle lasted me about 10 months, which is a pretty long time considering how generously i wear my cologne. sometimes i would have to spray a little extra just to make sure that the smell lasted all night. I just like my cologne to smell a little stronger than most.

Burberry became a larger name ever since jay-z and sex and the city designer purses were hot. Well, before all this back in 1997, I remember working at foley’s and using my employee discount to purchase a bottle of this cologne. I didn’t know what burberry was at the time, nor the distinguished plaid pattern. All I know was that this cologne smelled great. It’s really one of a kind and I do not know anyone who wears this cologne even today. With so many colognes out there, they end up blending and smelling the same but let me tell you, this cologne does not!! Do not let this uniqueness deter you for purchasing the cologne, it’s just different in a very good way. It is not a strong woods man smell like polo or drakkar, yet not too sweet like it should be sold to a lady or a man who wants to smell like a lady. My only complaint is that I needed to spray a couple sprays for it to last all day long. I would recommend this cologne for almost anyone, but it does seem to be a younger man’s cologne. This one like so many burberry colognes will attracted the girls!! The 1.7 bottle lasted me about 6 months which I think was fair wearing it everyday to work at foleys. If you want a unique cologne that no one has with a name like burberry to show you have class, then this is the cologne for you!!

I love this cologne. Weekend by Burberry is a really fresh scent. My girlfriend used to ask me to put in on whenever we would go out. It's nice to know when someone is sniffing you when you are hugging. Also, the clean smell to it causes people to turn around when you walk right by them. Trust me, people really do!

This cologne is really hot. It smells so fresh and so clean. It is very noticeable, but it is not overpowering. It is a different cologne that you don’t find on most people. I never get tired of it. Burberry did a great job with it. Highly recommended!!!

Weekend by Burberry is a great scent. It is fresh and clean, but not overpowering. A hint of this scent will last all night long. It is great for everyday use. People will walk by you and get a smell of this cologne and stop to say how much they like it. I’ve had it for years, and never get sick of it. It is one of my favorite colognes.

For the first time I smell it , I had been caught by the gentleness of the scent. Usually men colognes have a strong scent and very masculine. This is the good exception out of the rule. Bought it for my husband. I love it all the time, not only on weekends! I think every man should have it in their perfume collection ! Women will be satisfied trust me !

I LOVE THIS COLOGNE. It is probably one of the best colognes i have ever owned and smelled. I have not met anyone who did not love the smell of this cologne. It has a GREAT light and fresh scent to it and smells like flowers. I highly recommend this to anyone and im sure you wont be dissapointed. Very popular cologne among my friends.

I had being using Burberry Brit right from when it was launched. Last time I happened to try weekend it was quite impressive. It has a light smell perfect for casual evenings. I really love the smell and moreover it is priced pretty less compared to other good perfumes. i would go for this again.

I am personally not very fond of this cologne. I thought it smelled pretty nice when I first bought it, but then I just got sick of it. It seems too sweet almost. But, if that is something, you like than this is great for you. Other than that make sure you like the scent before buying it. On the plus side, it does stay strong for a pretty long time.

Weekend is a nice, smooth citrus scent. The honey and lemon really shine through on this one, making it a semi-sweet and cooling scent that's good for Spring or Summer. My only problem with the fragrance is the longevity, because like most citrus scents, it doesn't last long. However, it's a reasonable price and a very pleasant casual smell, so give it a shot.
