When you walk into a room and someone says, "Oh, you smell wonderful" you know you have found "your" scent! Burberry Perfume for Women by Burberry is mine. One of my co-workers remarked that she can follow me down the hall because she loves my perfume. That is not to say that it is overwhelming in anyway. It is a soft scent that I love and so do the people around me. Even strangers ask me the name of my perfume and then write it down! Never have I had that happen with any other perfume.

I don't wear perfume on a daily basis, but when I do, it's Burberry Perfume for Women by Burberry or nothing. The scent, as mentioned by another reviewer, IS a warm and comforting one, I've been wearing Burberry for 10 years and I adore it! I'm about to purchase a bottle, for I'm nearly out. Can't have that happen, now can we?!!

Burberry is my signature scent. It is also the only perfume that I have bought more than once - I tend to rotate amongst a few (DKNY Delicious, Kenzo Flower). EVERYTIME I wear this I get compliments. It is one of the warmest most comforting scents I have ever worn. I find the scent lasts a long time, and you can't beat the prices on here!

I absolutely love Burberry perfume. I get compliments on it all the time. I enjoy the smell, because it doesn't smell like all the other perfumes.Before I leave my boyfriends house I spray it on his pillow, he really enjoys it. I first noticed Burberry Perfume for Women by Burberry on my daughter-in-law--I really liked it and asked her what it was: she told me it was Burberry, by Burberry. I bought her some for her birthday and a bottle for me, also. It has a great soft smell that is not overpowering. My granddaughter smelled it on me and asked me what I was wearing. I told her and put a few squirts on her--she loved it also**She has allergies and it is hard for her to find a perfume to wear. I gave her part of a bottle I had so she could try it out on herself. She now says that it's her Favorite perfume and doesn't mess with her allergies. That in itself is great, as she has had a hard time wearing perfume, due to this problem. I recently mailed her another bottle when I found out she had already used the new one I got for her. She said it's the "best" perfume she's ever worn and her all-time favorite. I agree that it does smell terrific and lasts a long time on your body**I think it's the best-smelling of all the Burberry line.

In a week-long quest to find a new scent, I must have smelled a good hundred and fifty different perfumes -- from Armani to Yves Saint Laurent -- and Burberry was the one that came out on top, much to my surprise. I despise perfumes that are cloying or strong, and even the most light, fresh scents frequently turn sickly-sweet on my skin. For that reason I (usually) tend to prefer summery scents like D&G's Light Blue. This scent is a solidly fall/winter scent; it made me imagine I was sitting in a warm, well-lit winter cottage, a grandmotherly type making something delightful in the kitchen while the elderly gentleman reads in a library filled with dry old tomes. But it's not remotely "grandmotherly". It's a warm, dry perfume with a gentle but pervasive scent of vanilla and musk. It's quiet but complex; the peach and sandalwood stood out the most strongly of the top and middle notes, at least on my skin. The other notes -- which I couldn't distinguish individually at the time, but include green apple, marigold, black currant (on top); cedar, jasmine, and moss (middle) -- combine to give it a comforting but clean smell. If you're looking for a winter scent, I'd highly recommend sampling Burberry.

I was sitting near a lady I did not know at a restaurant recently and she smelled great! After getting 2 or 3 nice whiffs, I finally asked her what kind of perfume she was wearing. She told me it was Burberry Perfume for Women by Burberry. To be honest, I had never heard of it before, but I went immediately to the web and looked it up, telling myself I am definitely going to get me some of that! I happened across the perfume.com site and saw the prices were much less than I had been seeing elsewhere on the Internet, so I ordered me the larger spray, a small (purse size) and some body lotion all in the Burberry fragrance. The ordering was easy and my package arrived in no time. I could not wait to try it out. The first time I wore it, I had a compliment right away, and since that time I have had several. Burberry Perfume for Women by Burberry is touted as a sophisticated fragrance and I found that exactly so. It is not fruity, flowery, or cloying. This may not be part of perfume vocabulary, but I found it "gentle." I like to feel that I'm wearing the perfume, not the other way around, and Burberry does that superbly. It is perfect for someone going to a board meeting, a get-together with friends, or any other daytime occasion where subtlety is appreciated. In perfume as well as architecture, less is more.

I love the smell of Burberry Perfume for Women by Burberry. However, I found that the scent wears off after a short period of time. I do not think that it compares to scents such as Michael Kors or Ralph Lauren Lauren. Perhaps in price but so far as long lasting scent it does not have it in my opinion!

I actually bought Burberry Perfume for Women by Burberry before I had ever smelt it. A woman I knew would always wear it, and I thought it smelled SO good on her! I was bored, and heard about this website, and searched for it, and thought I would try it out. Alot of times I will think that some perfume smells good on other people, but not as good on me. I get tons of compliments on this fragrance. I am 100% satisfied with my purchase, and will continue from buying Burberry! I have totally falled in love with this scent! It is just strong enough for others to smell it, all day, but not over-bearing strong to where it makes you sick! I would definately recomend this scent to anyone woman who enjoys smelling extravigant :)!!!

I first smeled Burberry on my daughter and future son inlaw. I really liked them both. We stopped at an outlet store and found there were several brandsof Burberry. It was there that I found the fragrance I liked the best,Burberry. I have since bought it for my daughter. She likes it better that the type she had. I enjoy wearing it because it is warm and not over done. I have had many compliments on it as well. I would reccomend it to anyone who likes a great smelling perfume but not strong and overpowering. Believe it or not, my husband hit a home run with Burberry Perfume for Women by Burberry 4 years ago at Christmas....I wanted to try a new fragrance,but just wasn't finding what I liked. He bought me this as a stocking stuffer and it has become my signature scent! Almost everyone asks me what I am wearing...at first I wondered if I was applying too much, but then found that it just smelled so good everyone wanted to know.... He decided that the following year ( since he did so well with Burberry) he would buy me DKNY- which smells wonderful on some but for me....I smelled like a big ol' grapefruit! My personal favorite is Burberry London. I too am very sensitive with many colognes and lotions. This fragrance reminds me of Spring Time all year long ! It is the only fragrance that I wear every where and it lingers in the air around me. I get tons of compliments from friends and strangers. I have been approached even in grocery stores by men and women asking me what fragrance I was wearing , that it was very sexy and clean. I am an Operations Manager for a Day Spa in Chesterfield Michigan, and I have been complimented on the pleasant aroma in our lobby ! Occassionally I spray a little Burberry around the lobby too. I am 59 years old and I do not care for fruity , sweet scents that are so popular now. Burberry London is fresh and clean and not too heavy. I also use the shower gel to wash my hair for a special date. I hope you get the same reaction from your special guy as I do !

I've been looking for a perfume for years. Literally years! Everything I tried had an "alcohol" smell. After an hour of wearing perfume I would get a headache. I would end up bathing and changing clothes. I had given up hope of finding perfume I liked. So, I went back to body sprays. Then, along comes Burberry Perfume for Women by Burberry! I love this stuff. I teach elementary school and my students always say, "Mrs T, you smell so good!" It makes me smile. My husband loves this stuff too. It smells so clean and flirty. I have been using Burberry for several years and wouldn't buy anything else. With my particular body chemistry this is the best purfume. I receive compliments almost daily. I am asked often "what are you wearing it smells so good". I am a nurse and with so many offensive smells in that environment it's nice to know that I bring a fresh scent wherever I go. In the winter when I visit friends they comment on knowing I had been there after hanging my coat in their closet. The scent lingers for a few days. I bought Burberry Perfume for Women by Burberry because someone told my husband that it would smell good on me. The first time I had to take the tip jar around for the D.J. I didn't get very far before everyone wanted to know what I was wearing. That night the D.J. asked me to take his tip jar around at least once an hour. Each and every time people kept telling me that I smelled really good. It turned all the guys on and half the ladies. So I really would try this scent at least once. It might just be worth it. I can smell the peach in Burberry Perfume for Women by Burberry and it is nice, but some of the other notes seem a little masculine, and the overall composition seems kind of yucky to me. I mean, it's somewhat sweet, and not horrible, I just feel it's a discordant combination of notes for a perfume. And it also has a pungent plastic/chemical hint. So, overall, there is kind of a warm peach or peach cobbler thing going on that is nice, but otherwise this is icky. It would be a whole lot better if it wasn't for that pungent plastic note, in fact, if it wasn't for that and a couple slightly masculine or soapy notes, it might even be a nice sweet foody perfume. Plus point, it smells slightly better on that I would have expected from smelling the spray nozzle. But I feel like this could have been improved greatly by removing some of the notes. Certainly soapy lavender doesn't work well in a foody scent, and moss, cedar, geranium, thyme, and mint could have contributed to the incongruous pungence, the masculine hint, and maybe the plastic tinge as well.

Sweet but not foody, won't smell Burberry Perfume for Women by Burberry everywhere, super feminine The Bottom Line I recommend Burberry London to anyone looking for a soft, smooth, slightly sweet, creamy-type scent, with a touch of cedar (depending on chemistry/climate). Full Review Burberry London EDP is truly a beautiful, unique scent. The first time I tried this I didn't seem to like it much because all I could detect was the wood/cedar note. Maybe it was a bad body chemistry day, but the two times I've tried this again, I have adored it. The second time I tried it, I was at Ulta and thought I'd give it another chance. I'm so glad I did, because it smells heavenly. If ever I could have a signature scent, this could definitely be it. It's so ME! Anyway, the third time I tried it was at Sephora and I just wanted to make sure it smelled good on me before committing to a purchase. Yup. Gorgeous again. The bottle it comes in a simple, squatty, round-oval shaped clear bottle. The fluid is a sunny colored yellow, and it is capped with a silver top. The front says "Burberry" and underneath that, it says "London". It's very sophisticated and will look pretty on your dresser or display shelf. It's easy to hold and sprays a nice, even mist. Burberry London EDP begins with a touch of wood/cedar which quickly dries down into a soft, smooth, creamy scent with the perfect amount of sweetness. If you've tried Herve Leger, this smells very similar to that, but much better, longer lasting, and lots more sillage (the trail of scent you leave behind you as you pass by). The notes, according to the Sephora website are: "Black Currant, Green Apple, Peach, Jasmine, Sandalwood, Cedar, Vanilla". Some people say that they smell the peach quite dominantly, but on me, the peach and the green apple are part of the background. I don't know what black currant is supposed to smell like, but I think that's what I get most out of this, including the sandalwood and vanilla. The cedar is only present on me at first sprtiz. Not 2 minutes later, the cedar scent is gone (which is a good thing for me because I don't want to smell like a hamster cage). Not a bad smell, but not what I want my perfume to smell like.

Burberry, the signature scent by Burberry the design label, is my mother's favorite signature scent, and whenever I catch a whiff of it, it reminds me of her: it is sophisticated and floral, but also classic and clean. The overall fragrance is just too heavy for me to wear. I think it is more for older women.

I like Burberry Perfume for Women by Burberry. The first time I smelled it, I immediately thought of our recent trip to Hawaii. The fragrance smells remotely like plumeria flowers that the Hawaiians use to make leis with. I also detect notes of lavendar and other florals. Everytime I smell this fragrance, I just want to breathe it in deeply. This is most definitely a feminine fragrance and it fades nicely. It almost smells better after the first hour or so after applying it.

I recently discovered Burberry Perfume for Women by Burberry and have been wearing it lately when I want to make a sexy feminine impression. It has peach and vanilla but is not too sweet and I think it's wearable in summer, which is more than I can say for most oriental scents. Maybe it's semi-oriental. One thing I like about it is that after hours of wear, the drydown is more subtle and musky, rather than fruity or floral. The drydown reminds me of Samsara a bit, which I love, although the scent in general is different.

Burberry Perfume for Women by Burberry is seriously amazing!! it can be pretty pricey so i hadnt tried it until about two weeks ago. my friend recieved it as a gift so i asked her if i could use some. my skin seriously felt softer then ever. i know that sounds pretty corny, surely all lotions believe theirs is the best. but this lotion was amazing!! and it smells great. i immidiatly went out and bought a bottle of my own. trust me, it's worth the price. the smell is almost fruity, which is really nice coming from burberry. great for the summer. there's nothing better then a fruity smell when you're outside in the sun! and ofcourse who honestly doesnt recognize the ever popular plaid that covers everything burberry. this is a deffinite must for your medicine cabnet!

Burberry has done it right with Burberry Perfume for Women by Burberry! Although I don't care for floral scents, this one just works for me. I love the way it disappates into a beautiful floral scent that stays with you all day. I loved this so much that I purchased it for my little sister as well.

Burberry Perfume for Women by Burberry starts off with a semi-fruity scent. The apple and marigold scent is the most prominent, but it quickly disappears and turns into a very beautiful warm comforting scent of cedar, sandalwood and vanilla – the best part of this fragrance. It makes a very nice and sensual fragrance for the winter months.
