Jaipur by Boucheron is quite simply the best fragrance I've ever worn. The reactions from women in the office, as well as my beautiful wife, tells me that there must be something about the chemical combination of the fragrance with my natural skin. The fragrance wears well throughout the day, becoming subtle and, remarkably, smoldering just beneath the surface. Jaipur won't announce your arrival before you get there, but once you arrive, every encounter with even women in passing will result in the same double take. As subtly sinful as is the cologne, the aftershave balm is as soothing and refreshing. I'm no scent authority, but I do know what I like, and what women find attractive in men's fragrances. This is it! Ladies, if you're looking for a fragrance for your guy that he will appreciate wearing for the way it makes him feel about himself... this is the one.

I used to work as an airport screener in Texas and always noticed how good this one pilot smelled when he'd come through. When I finally asked what he was wearing, he told me Jaipur Cologne. He was on his way to Paris, France and told me he'd bring me some back. He did, and I started wearing it (Jaipur for Men). Well, I can't tell you how many compliments I received from men and women. This is the absolutely perfect, seductive, and sophisticated fragrance for men that I have ever encountered. I have been buying it for my husband for several years. I've noticed many people asking him what he is wearing. so its definitely pleasant. I won't ever let him run out of this wonderful fragrance. I highly recommend this. Try it once and you WILL keep coming back for more.

I started with Boucheron Homme, a delicious scent, but later found Boucheron's elegant Jaipur Homme to be less sweet and insistent. Although I've used Boucheron's Jaipur For Men in its parfum, eu de cologne, shampoo, and after shave lotion, and like them all, I find that Boucheron's Jaipur After Shave Balm has a subtly differing scent, the one I like most among all fragrances. It is, of course, also soothing to the skin, but it is also MUCH more difficult to locate in a separate container [usually a spray-bottle, about 4 oz.] than any of those others mentioned above. I was delighted to find that Perfume.com on occasion had those bottles at prices discounted as low as $27. At Boucheron's main store in Paris I paid $50 each for them. So I am waiting for them to come back at any price below $50.

I STARTED DATED MY NOW HUSBAND, 5 YEARS AGO. HE WAS WEARING A COLOGNE THAT SMELLED WONDERFUL, NOT TOO STRONG, MUSKY, WOODSY SCENT. IT WAS JAIPUR HOMME FOR MEN. BECAUSE I ENJOYED THE SCENT SO MUCH, I BOUGHT THE JAIPUR SAPHIR FOR WOMEN. QUITE OFTEN, WHEN I WEAR IT, I GET COMMENTS ON WHAT AM I WEARING AS THE SCENT IS SO NICE. IT IS VERY SIMILAR TO THE MENS, NOT TOO STRONG, MUSKY, VANILLA, WOODSY SCENT. I LOVE IT, ITS THE ONLY PERFUME I WEAR.

jaipur is the best cologne bar none, hands down. i am in line at a store and the man behind me asked what i had on. his lady got mad at him for asking and he explained it smelled so good. she smelled me and agreed. it lasts all day and is my favorite to wear. i own over 40 kinds of cologne and this is the one everyone loves. it is my signature cologne.

My wife and I were in Scotland last year with another couple from Texas and went in one of their major department stores. We happen to be in their men's fragrance department and the sales clerk was promoting Jaipur. My friend liked the smell so much he purchased the last bottle they had in stock. The sales person said this item was not available in the USA. When I got home to NH, I went online and found the same cologne for less than half the price than in Scotland for the exact same size at Perfume.com I have had many people ask me what I was wearing as they liked the fragrance. I have re-ordered a number of times as Jaipur has become my favorite and you can't beat the price for it at Perfume.com.

It seems that Bucheron's magical potion Jaipur, is one of only two Eau de Parfumes that are made for men. Jaipur EDP is a real head turner. Long lasting, with layered notes of deep masculinity, this fragrence does not over power its owner. It never becomes too sickenenly sweet..or cloyingly intense. Instead it envelopes its owner in a a sensual embrance of manly power, woodsy tones and romantic notions..I love it!

Agree w/ Scent Hound and Adam - this is powerful stuff...this is by far & away my favorite cologne. But I concur with saving it for those special occasions. It probably could overcome some sensitive noses in small offices.

Jaipur EDP is an elegant oriental scent that is classy and powerful. The EDP in particular will project like crazy and if you put too much on you can definitely suffocate the room. On the other hand, when applied properly its comes off as powdery and vanilla. Great for special occasions, and definitely a little too heavy for everyday use. Recommended.
