The House of Boucheron—the French jewelry dynasty—was founded in 1858 and frequented by nobility on the "sunniest corner of the square" in hope of diamonds shining brightly. The Queen Mother's Boucheron tiara was gifted to the Duchess of Cornwall by Prince Charles. Adding its perfume business in 1988, Boucheron continues to draw a worldly clientele of A-listers.   "This fragrance is my all-time standby, and I've worn the EDP version ever since its introduction in the early 1990's. Your first encounter with this jewel-like scent is a zesty citrus burst that quickly softens into a refreshing bouquet with a natural herbal quality. The rose note referenced on the boucheron web site is detectable but extremely subtle and non-feminizing. My favorite time to wear this scent is on the hottest sweltering days of summer-the EDP maintains its strength and maintains a cooling, crisp presence even in the muggiest of climates."
