The New York inspired brand commissioned perfumer Michel Almairac with a tall order: the cultural, musical side of the vast metropolis, from Carnegie Hall, sandwiching 56th up to 57th street, through the Lincoln center and all the way down West side and Studio 54. He delivered in the form of a refined powdery rosy scent which fondles the flowers in soft amber. The final notes of vanilla restrained in its sweetness by a little metallic whiff due to iron oxides and ambergris are supremely pleasant. Anyone interested in conceptual creations is bound to be moved by such a composition: as melodious as the sounds escaping from all those shrines to the god of music!
