Admittedly, I’m a magazine addict. I hoard each month’s crop of issues and pore though every hemline, byline, and tagline in the book. What I don’t do is get sucked in to ads. I admire or criticize for a hot second, and move on. Until I saw the most recent campaign for Michael Kors.
The perfectly-fitted sheath dress, the patent bow belt, the chunky gold jewelry, the swept updo, the coat draped ever-so-casually around her shoulders, even the dapper, Geek Chic guy by her side. (My husband knows I’m biding my time until he loses his 20-20 vision and is forced to wear equally adorable glasses.) But honestly, it goes so far beyond the stuff in the photo — I’ve certainly coveted items from ads before, of course. It’s the whole vibe it gives off. You can almost smell the jet-setting, world-is-my-oyster confidence they radiate.
So what else do they radiate? My (very astute) guess is some sort of Michael Kors scent.
On her: Michael Kors by Michael Kors for Women — A white floral that walks the line between sensual and sophisticated.

On him: Michael Kors by Michael Kors for Men — An oriental, woody scent, it’s masculine, fresh, and classic.

Or, pick up the mini bottles here and here — perfect for jet-setting. (Even if the jetting involves less private plane and more window seat in coach.)
